IT Support Specialist | 06/2014 - 07/2016
In this position, I was a communication representative at an Infantry company, where I had an amazing experience supporting the communication requirements for the most diverse and capable professionals. While there I was the primary point of contact to ensure communication requirements were being met, troubleshoot computer and radio issues, and install and maintain radio and vehicle communication equipment. I've used the opportunity there to build a more diverse set of skills including learning computer troubleshooting, training and mentoring, property maintenance, and communication.

Communications Team Lead | 04/2013 - 05/2014
After being promoted to Sergeant, I was put in charge of a small communications team, which was a rewarding opportunity because it allowed me to directly have an impact on my teams' careers, and their lives. The opportunity gave me the skills in team leadership, being a mentor, and being an honest manager capable of giving honest feedback and sometimes a firm level of guidance if they were doing the wrong thing or making mistakes. I was also given a project to create a standard operating procedure, to ensure that the deployment of antennas and how it is meeting manufacturer requirements and best capability standards are evaluated for team capability. During this project my team and I did a lot of deep diving into antenna theory and installation research, allowing the best product to be developed and implemented throughout our company.
