I am a fashion designer not yet Sr level but not an assistant level either. I am ready and willing to put my skills to the test in any sort of graphics/fashion avenue.

I have now moved over to Design to work on an up and coming brand called Jet Setter. We are a contemporary Kids line and just launched a Contemporary Women's line. I am not handling all tasks first trough production. I have now assumed all duties that involve design and technical design. I am sourcing the best materials and treatments all over Los Angeles since it is very important to us to do production locally. We are a true California Brand made by California girls!!! We hope to see you in stores soon.

Sketch or draft apparel designs with computer aid software. Draw and design all Graphics for knitwear. Select textiles including fabrics, fasteners, and other raw materials for line. Present concepts to director and team. Continuously research trims and new ways to put them on garments. Work with dye house on new colors and treatments for Jersey. Oversee patternmakers, cutters and fittings first through production.

Knits/Graphic Designer

I now am working in the Technical department of an Athletic wear company. I create tech packs for over 10 labels, ensure all samples, trim artwork, threads, stitches and anything else is noted and pointed out. I am helping to organize my department so that it is more efficient and user friendly.

Technical Designer

Recently I moved departments to an up and coming contemporary athletic/loungewear line.  I work directly under the Senior Designer. Research worldwide marketplace and interpret consumer and market needs as they relate to product categories. Research fabric, color, and design concepts
Attend selected tradeshows and go “comp shopping” for market research and collaborate with the sales team to gain thorough understanding of customer/product requirements.
Propose design ideas based on seasonal assignments regarding fabrication, style, silhouettes, functional features, fit, costs, and final execution feasibility
Research, propose, and develop trims, graphic applications, prints, and/or patterns as needed on a seasonal basis. Provide technical drawings and CADs to communicate design concepts, including multiple views and detailed sketches as necessary. Create concept boards to communicate design and color direction to present at Buyer meetings. Initiate sample requests and maintain communication with vendors throughout the entire garment developing process. Attend and comment on fit sessions and collaborate with the Senior Design and Technical Designer in reviewing samples and suggesting fit/design revisions. Comment on lab dips for trims and bulk fabric for production
Develop production worksheets and CADs from buyers for collection and SM’s

Associate Designer for Zobha

Analyzed and researched fashion trends. Developed stylish and contemporary missy dresses. Transformed initial concepts into extremely marketable fashion deliveries. Led a team of pattern makers, sewers and cutters to efficiently finish the sample line for market. Sketched and computer drafted all designs. Played a key role in interpreting updates to best sellers as well as creating best sellers throughout the year. Ensured correct style and achieved proper fit in attendance at fittings. Communicated with 	sales team to ensure buyers needs and directionality.

Dress Designer

Worked closely as a team fashion designer and senior designer. Communicated with sales to channel all needs. Interpreted trends throughout design and development. Followed color, design ideas and trends that were suitable for all accounts. Communicated with product managers on a regular basis about spec, fabrics and details for all product categories. Approved all pre-production to ensure production was running smoothly and looked like that sample line that we showed. Helped with all the research and development of trims, key fabrics, prints and patterns with the fabric team, and CAD designers. Managed all sample sewers, cutters and marking and grading to ensure a smooth flow of workload every day. Traveled to stores to shop for samples and creative inspiration.

Design Associate

Assisted all production managers on a daily basis. Sorted production of knits and wovens in the factory to send to die, finishing or sublimate. Oversaw all pre-production: technical design, sewing of the garment, tech packs, trim info and sourcing. Tested all production garments for shrinkage. In charge of all pattern makers, marking and grading. Implemented systems to stay organized. Set up fittings with designers and took fit comments to follow first through production.
