• Goal was to ensure new Mk1 Linear Valve Flowline Efficiency at Flowserve Inc. in Springville, UT.
• Some Processes Used: Scrum meetings, Slack, 5’s S, 5 Why’s, and other Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Toured manufacturing facility and interviewed workers to identify bottlenecks in the process.
• Observed the company’s manufacturing line to look for waste or disruptions to the value streamflow.
• Looked for and identified types of waste, disruptions, or process improvements to the value streamflow. Used Lean Manufacturing and Project Management tools. Identified two types of waste: operators waiting, and defects. These were great disruption to the value stream.
• Drew conclusion on large amounts of raw Excel assembly issue data into Pareto Charts, Pie Charts, and Pivot Tables to analyzing the data about the frequency of problems and focus on the most significant areas of issues.
• Took the lead for many areas of the project which increased management skills. Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Provided weekly progress reports to stakeholders. Provided a final report and presentation for stakeholders that provided relevant data and suggestions to the company to improve their throughput and cut down on waste.

• Built distance education course in about 6 weeks with a team of 16.
• Created a design proposal. Built and managed style guide compliance. Designed the slide deck and reviewed each team's slide decks for design consistencies. Created tutorials for aspects of the slide design. Created tutorials for captioning and transcriptions.
• Reviewed each team's transcripts for uniformity. Uploaded and captioned course videos to YouTube. Applied video and audio edits to videos via Adobe Premiere and YouTube.
