Operations Manager/Customer Service Manager

Logistics, Shipping & Operations

Operations manager position with a focus on team leadership, analysis, and customer service.

•	More than 10 years’ as a customer service/operations manager in the apparel industry.
•	Highly organized and friendly professional, able to establish long-term, positive and fun relationships with customers, co-workers and outside resources.
•	Skilled at working independently and a team player.


•	Responsible for Major accounts: Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Ave, Nordstrom, Anthroplolgie, Neiman Marcus, and many more.
•	Managing customer service: EDI, order entry, allocation, and picking orders
•	Reviewed all orders pending credit approvals with our credit manager
•	Send notifications to customers when styles are dropped or need to be extended
•	Work with department stores on any chargebacks
•	Process EDI documents; 850, 860, 856, and 810
•	Approve RTV
•	Approve customer cancellation
•	Work with our Canadian, European, and Australian distributor to ensure orders are processed, create commercial invoice, NAFTA, schedule appointments with freight forwarders
•	Managing shipping: schedule pick-ups with carriers, plan shipping schedule, receiving, and QC
•	Production: Liaison for production team, customer services and sales reps to assure that goods will meet delivery date, via WIP
•	Inventory control and Physical inventory management
•	Set-up meetings: production, shipping, accounting, and construction meeting
•	Assist CEO: reports, pricing, planning, and hiring
•	Assist VP of sales: meeting with customers and recap orders/sales
