Independent Contract Driver

OBJECTIVE: To obtain a challenging and rewarding position in open fieldwork, with a progressive company that will help me utilize my experience and leadership skills in the Shipping, Receiving, and Delivering departments.


Pick up packages from Amazon fulfillment stations and deliver them to customers' homes. On-demand delivery and public transportation using personal home vehicles.

- Packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping, and receiving materials.
 - Duties involving coordination and supervision of the supply, storage, distribution, and recording of materials to maintain quantities.
- Attention to detail that appropriate amounts of stock are maintained by a business, so as to be able to meet customer demand without delay while keeping the costs associated with holding stock to a
minimum.
- Organized and supervised warehouse teams to meet daily order demand.

Inventory Control/ Warehouse Lead

- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including freight, returns, receiving, parcels, and transfers.
- Coordinate Velocity team efforts to execute projects in a timely manner within company guidelines and expectations.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to determine product placement.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.


Warehouse Manager

- Unloads goods and material received.
- Included packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping, and receiving materials.
- Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment.


Shipping and Handling 

- Clean exterior surfaces using cleaners, mechanical buffers, and polishing compounds.
- Perform minor body repair of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sanders.
