• Evaluate production processes and equipment to find opportunities for improvement. Operate manufacturing equipment to maximize product throughout and minimize downtime. Work with mold and machine-specific repairs and improvements to increase production of high quality parts. Complete housekeeping and maintenance duties in the production area. Troubleshoot mechanical and processing problems. Run plastic injection molding machines and peripheral equipment. Perform set-ups, running, monitoring and change overs of all presses and molds. Inform relief shift and superiors about machine production and status, material processes, department needs and any problems. Meet production goals through timely changeover and proper set up of injection molds and work stations.
