Results oriented Product Manager, leading cross functional teams to bring profitable products to market and grow brand awareness.

I've built up an incredibly well rounded shop of product management tools with my succession of product development jobs : Levi Strauss & Co, in Quality Assurance and then Design; Designer at Williams-Sonoma; Designer-Builder for my own business, Raw Material; Lecturer at Stanford for Product Design Division; product and line leadership as a Senior Product Manager at Restoration Hardware, and I've pulled all together with my most recent amazing foray into the world of start-ups at Sabi, developing a profitable brand, with 3 product lines, from the ground up.

As Senior Product Manager, now Director of Products at Sabi, I work directly with the CEO to drive every aspect of product strategy, development, management, and profitability for commercialization to grow the brand. Along with those "big picture" goals, being at a start up also means I need to be highly adaptable and capable of any task, big or small, that comes my way. I might be working on a presentation to give at a conference, conducting user research in the field, hammering through materials decisions with engineers and designers, fine tuning a point of sale design with the graphics team,  making sure a UPC code meets international requirements, or updating my latest spreadsheet . It's varied, fast paced, and lends itself to many eye-opening, knowledge-buliding and adrenaline-generating moments!

Working with Strategic Management, design, manufacturing, and marketing teams to define, develop, and bring to market the Sabi product to drive growth, profitability, and the brand

Drive and manage every aspect of products for commercialization: market analysis, product road map, brand development, line development, packaging design, product timelines, deep understanding of tooling and manufacturing, final approval on all product to move to production, margin and pricing strategy, sales and distribution strategies, design direction on marketing materials, design and content direction for all presentations internal and external, website design direction, set up with commerce partners and brick and mortar distributors...all in a fast paced, highly accountable, entrepreneurial environment.

Gaps in my resume were filled by making creations as founder of my own company that focused on product design of small runs and hand crafted pieces.

•	Drove development and growth of Bath Furniture, Bath Hardware, Bath Accessories, Cabinet Hardware, Front Door and Mailbox categories
•	Developed product in alignment with RH vision and brand strategy, from initial concept presentations for the CEO, through final sample approval and product launch
•	Led teams of designers, merchandisers, sourcing group, and factories to ensure all milestones and product deliveries are achieved
•	Generated over $100 million in revenue, with growth at 3x in 3 years as Sr. Product Manager

Senior Product Manager

•	Designer for Furniture, Decorative Accessories, Bedding and Bath categories
•	Responsible for initial product and catalog launch, Fall 2004 - Spring/Summer 2006, to include: market research, pov, sourcing, spec drawings in Adobe Illustrator, sample production, initial costing and minimums, product approval, tracking/documenting all stages, seasonal presentations 
•	Developed seasonal color stories for textiles
•	Responsible for all product drawings (Illustrator), specs, and BOM for manufacturing
•	Brought over 100 SKUs to market, exceeding profit margins on 40% of SKUs

Designer

•	Seasonal development of Men’s pants (denim and casuals) to include trend analysis, seasonal colors, garment sketches, line list development, spec packets, spec revisions, fit test, sample approval, production approval
•	Seasonal development of Men’s shirts (knits and wovens)
•	Product approval and maintenance of Denim SKUs for all divisions. Ensured all production facilities had updated approved swatches; worked with Denim Development Team and Mills to produce new finishes
