Legal Videographer - Independent Contractor

•	Professionally record video of legal depositions for use in court hearings. Meticulously manage audio levels and video recording
•	Manage and maintain relationships with scheduling firms while actively seeking new firms with which to conduct more business
•	Organize, generate and ship all data and work product to various agencies and firms under tight deadlines
•	Operate in an utmost professional and respectful manner alongside lawyers and court reporters at numerous law offices, hospitals and businesses in Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange Counties
•	Care, maintenance and comprehension of professional audio and video equipment
•	Follow up appropriately with any counsel, court reporters, or agencies that may need any further services or assistance that can be provided


•	Sell glasses with the intent of providing excellent customer service as well as maximizing a sale
•	Sell, repair, or even make glasses with, or without prescription lenses
•	Educate customers their options in a simple and succinct way
•	Communicate with technicians or representatives at laboratories or vendors to provide answers to customer's questions, or more typically, provide time estimates on orders
•	Manage inventory of frames, lens blanks and optical tools
•	Use extensive optical knowledge to troubleshoot any and all customer issues/complaints. Follow up with any labs or optometrists necessary to ensure that any issues aren't duplicated or compounded


Licensed Optician / Lab Technician

•	Oversee all aspects and all employees of the Optometric office
•	Manage 15-20 retail glasses/frame accounts as well as 12-15 supplier accounts that ranged from office and cleaning, to optical laboratories
•	Facilitate work or lunch meetings with sales representatives from various accounts
•	Constantly seek ways to better organize the office, the workstations, and even the forms/spreadsheets used by the doctors, patients, and lab 
•	Direct the schedules of Optometrists on staff. Direct the flow of their patients and ensure that communication to and from employees would happen effectively and efficiently. Delegate roles and duties to employees and intern/volunteers. Ensure that employees were progressing at expected and reasonable rates
•	Coach employees when necessary, impart useful knowledge and job skills
•	Plan and execute various marketing ideas to get more patients through the door by means of social media, and working with vendors and neighboring companies to drive business

Office Manager / Licensed Optician

•	Daily use of customer service and problem-solving skills to adequately run a profitable, small business of typically just 2 employees
•	Take on various roles as to encompass all of the aspects of the business

•	Running full pretests, including corneal topographer exam for Paragon CRT / Ortho K lenses


Optician

•	Took and passed the ABO, a nationally administered examination to receive Optician's certification
•	Regularly administer a full pretest, including auto-refractor, glaucoma screening, visual fields, Optomap retinal imaging, and acuity testing
•	Daily use of EyeNet appointment software
•	Work very closely with in-house lab to ensure job completion
