• Oversee all aspects and all employees of the Optometric office • Manage 15-20 retail glasses/frame accounts as well as 12-15 supplier accounts that ranged from office and cleaning, to optical laboratories • Facilitate work or lunch meetings with sales representatives from various accounts • Constantly seek ways to better organize the office, the workstations, and even the forms/spreadsheets used by the doctors, patients, and lab • Direct the schedules of Optometrists on staff. Direct the flow of their patients and ensure that communication to and from employees would happen effectively and efficiently. Delegate roles and duties to employees and intern/volunteers. Ensure that employees were progressing at expected and reasonable rates • Coach employees when necessary, impart useful knowledge and job skills • Plan and execute various marketing ideas to get more patients through the door by means of social media, and working with vendors and neighboring companies to drive business
