Finance executive currently leading FP&A and reporting at Dermavant, a spinout/startup clinical stage biotech company during its recent IPO activity. I have a deep history of serving clients in a multitude of industries including leading large teams and evaluating a wide range of technical accounting matters.  I also promote entrepreneurship in the local startup ecosystem throughout Arizona and beyond. I am a CPA licensed in Arizona and interested in pursuing opportunities for growth in Arizona and Southern California.

•	Financial Planning and Analysis – Redesigned and implemented a new budgeting process for the entire Company.  Provide executives and business leaders with monthly budget to actual analyses and ad hoc reporting for board meetings.  Ran efforts to identify and implement over $10+ million of budget savings in the current year.
•	Reporting – Responsible for drafting all Form S-1 filings and the audited and interim financial statements included in the document.  Received no SEC comments on any accounting matters during full IPO cycle.  Company postponed June 2019 NASDAQ public listing until after March 2020.
•	Technical Accounting – Research and document technical accounting positions on all significant transactions including asset acquisitions, debt financing, and the adoption of the ASC 842 new lease standard.
•	IT Systems – Evaluated and completed implementation of new accounting and finance systems including NetSuite GL, Adaptive Insights budgeting tool, Workiva Wdesk reporting tool, and Floqast reconciliation/close process tool.


•	Deep experience serving public and high growth private clients with national or global operations in the technology, restaurant, hospitality, waste disposal, real estate, retail, construction and advertising industries as well as foundations.
•	Experience serving venture capital and private equity funded companies including all aspects of client service delivery and related audit, accounting and financial reporting matters, including debt/equity financing and IPO transactions.
•	Led audits and quarterly reviews of SEC registered clients Everspin Technologies, Republic Services, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and Kona Grill.
•	Heavily involved in our firm campus recruiting efforts, lad and designed multiple firm trainings, and various office and market initiatives.
•	Coordinator for EY's Entrepreneur of the Year program in the Arizona market.

Senior Manager, Assurance

•	Developed real estate and personal property valuations to challenge property tax assessments in order to save clients money primarily on a contingent fee basis.
•	Analyzed over $1 billion in property valuations annually. Presented evidence and argued cases in front the Arizona State Board of Equalization and in tax court. 
•	Developed custom internal database used by all employees to efficiently manage our clients’ properties using county valuation data with the ability to track appeals and create invoices for billing purposes.
