LDM is my personal brainchild as a brand exercise and product development/design space. I use this concept to explore all aspects of design primarily focusing on fashion but also non apparel and industrial. Using industry contacts, service providers, the internet and employment opportunities, I have amassed knowledge on design, garment construction and pattern making, industrial sewing machine classes, their setup, operation and maintenance. I have taken the time to learn and incorporate industry best practices into my design work and use this ongoing project as a process for constant real-time self improvement. Over the duration of this ongoing project I have personally invested thousands of dollars of my own money and the same in hours of learning and practice.

Responsibilities included management of multiple online sales channels, including the company's Shopify website, NewEgg, and Amazon/Prime storefronts. In addition, I oversaw an online ticketing system for customer service, warranty service/repair scheduling, and returns across various email accounts.

Aside from the below listed responsibilities, I was able to learn much of the engineering thought that goes into automation, process, folders, attachments and specialized machine setup for sewn product manufacturing. I spent four years working part time with Brian Baylis. He showed me many aspects of frame building, metal work, paint, restoration and much more. These lessons included, -History lessons on frame building, bicycle brands etc. - Surface preparation including filler and shaping - Application of traditional decals, burnish, slide etc. - Brazing and frame building. I learned some basic techniques on construction and geometry

Duties included plotting sailcloth, cutting, taping and panel joining via industrial sewing machines. Also design and construction of various bags for sails, equipment, and any other requests etc.

Shop apprentice training all aspects of custom paint and graphics application for racing motorcycles. Responsibilities included body panel removal, bodywork preparation and reconstruction methods, post repair surface prep, paint/graphics techniques and finishing.

Installation and service of fuel management and leak detection systems, dispensing equipment, industrial electrical and steel construction - Communications with Calif. State Dept. of Transportation liaison, vendors, other employees, clients - Site prep and tool setup - Terminal building and installation, detection probes + level sensor setting, etc. - Training employees on site construction duties - Traveling independently to gather data or perform work at past, current and potential work sites - Recording and organizing data.
