?Designed, developed, tested, and documented mechanical mechanisms and top level prototypes for new products to be manufactured in high volumes.
? Generated design proposals by researching and interfacing with 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and services to source various components for high volume quantities.
? Optimized designs for cost effective injection molding, manufacturability, and assembly
? Produced formal reports and reviews to communicate design intent and changes to suppliers accompanied with detailed engineering drawings and BOMs.

?Provided engineering support to Production, R&D, Quality & Systems Control, and Automation teams by completing day-to-day engineering tasks while also working up to 5 engineering projects at a time in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures) based on FDA regulations. 
? Generated test protocols to qualify custom automated manufacturing machines and manufacturing process for production through design validation/verification, manufacturing process qualifications, design input, and IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation/Operational/Performance Qualifications). 
? Assembled, operated, and troubleshoot testing fixtures utilizing standard laboratory tools and test equipment to perform product testing based on engineering protocols to report interpreted data to engineering for performance feedback. 
? Investigated and isolated product non-conformances as well as machine malfunctions for root causes and developed corrections to prevent any reoccurrences.

?Designed and held design reviews for fixtures and assemblies aimed at resolving problems with top level model production by applying rapid and traditional prototyping technologies such as 3D printing, CNC machining, etc
? Revised and prepared detailed engineering drawings for machine shop fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly; Provided engineering support and contributed to all phases of design/development
? Collaborated with multiple departments such as production, machine shops, automation and third party vendors on design and cost saving projects.
