Developed, populated and managed an Access database to track company owned inventory being held at various pumping facilities and storage yards. Documented strategic sourcing savings in excess of $1.5M for 2009. Requisitions materials and works with procurement to ensure adequate materials are on order to meet upcoming demand. Coordinates deliveries with suppliers and receives materials into SAP. Arranges for the disposition or rework of obsolete, rejected, or non-conforming materials. Identified contractors, obtained, compiled, and reported competitive bids for materials and subcontract labor for capital projects with a scope in excess of $30M. Took the initiative to become the lead resource in the development of upcoming capital and major maintenance projects into the Primavera scheduling system. Developed, implemented, and audited processes and procedures for 3rd party contractors to receive, issue, and report project material disposition. Internationally sourced 36 miles of coated crude oil line pipe, utilizing internal engineering specifications and the API-5L standard. Evaluated competing bids, awarded, and assisted in the negotiation of the Master Service Agreement with the foreign supplier. Facilitated meetings between the pipe and coating mills, internal and subcontract project engineering staff, internal project management team, and subcontract metallurgical consultants to develop a Master Inspection Plan for the production of line pipe and coatings. Developed and executed the logistics for shipment from Germany to Colorado. Located, leased, and setup the warehouse facility in Ft. Lupton, CO, to receive and distribute the materials required for the 90-mile Colorado spread of the 16” Cheyenne, WY, to Commerce City, CO, crude oil pipeline build. Organized progress of all pipeline materials from the specification, RFQ, PO generation, and delivery phases of the supply chain process.
