Footwear Product Tester

I'm an open-minded, innovative professional in the fashion & entertainment industry specializing in partnerships, branding, experimental marketing and live event productions. • Actively wore Nike sample shoes due for production and give detailed feedback (hours/mileage per week) on the shoe's overall performance and wear (testing period is generally 6-8 weeks) 

• Kept detailed logs of my daily activities when wearing the product

• My detailed feedback helped cut back the costs in the sample making process from start to finish

• Achieved the status of 5 Star Tester

• At the end of the test period complete an online questionnaire about product durability, fit and overall wear. Then mail the test product back to Nike where it will be inspected and evaluated to make adjustments to improve the final design 

• Breaking down the shoe into individual parts and base feedback on wear performance

• Actively participate in the sport, if not lifestyle footwear, in which the shoe is designed for and provide details with supplemental shoe anatomy breakdown feedback

• Utilized customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales

• Served as a product knowledge resource for consumers and entry level associates

- Utilize customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales
- Build the bond between consumer and brand by providing superior service and adapting brand stories to the retail setting
- Maintain knowledge of various store departments and be available to operate cash register for regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor, perform cleaning duties, and build visual displays when necessary
- Serve as a product knowledge resource for consumers and entry level associates.  Seek educational opportunities to develop advanced level or specialized knowledge about selling, Nike products and culture, sales and service techniques
- Assist Leads, Senior Associates, and Managers in training entry level associates
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by providing proactive customer service

Manage, prospect, consult and follow through with clients on their photographic and/or video needs. Then executing on the aforementioned in a timely fashion. All while solely executing throughout the pre-production, production and post production stages.
