Product Design Intern | 05/2003 - 09/2003

As the design intern at Shift Racing I had the opportunity to work with and learn from a team of talented and experienced designers and get my first taste of real world design for production. Learned the ropes by helping out on small projects, assisting with trim and details, and by completing one product for production, the Mach Kidney belt, which utilized a unique double cavity mold that at the time made the Mach the lightest among it's competitors. I Worked on a variety of projects spanning across Shifts product lines, from Motocross gear and apparel, to Go Kart racing products and graphics, and some street motorcycle products.
