I have been a freelance design for 20+ years or many many dog years to all you hipsters. I have contributed designs and graphic elements to many populars brands in the action sports and assisted and collaberated designs with the branding, packaging and presentation or soft good, hard goods and accessories of many start up products and companies with proven success.
I always take the time to listen to what the client envisions and always strive to meet or surpass there vision which in turn building a level of trust and a on going relationship with my clients. I treat every client as friends and family and always willing to produce the simplest to complex graphics quickly while keeping my client in loop on the progress with comps and progress updates while producing digital comps, tech sheets and print details to insure that the client clearly understands how the final project will look when completed and how long it will take while staying within there deadline.

Utilized my 20+ years of design experience creating custom graphics based on clients needs. Review clients art files and educated clients on proper file formats. Color seperated artwork for print production and insider that screens were accurate. Created tech packs for production staff to follow indicating placement and color specs and monitored production from start to finish, checking print colors and matched to Pantone color chart, and confirming all proper ink types and print methods were used and contacted clients for final approval and strike off for production. Oversee production and staff to insure that orders were done on time and accurately.

Each day consisted of daily Customer Service duties, meeting and greeting each customer who came in the door, Insuring that they found the items they wanted, while sharing in the stoke of the surfing lifestyle. Received UPS shipments of new products, Entering items into the system and applied in store hang tags on each item. Took items onto shop floor and merchandised all new items to insure that they were presented cleanly and well organized in corresponding brand build outs and racks.
Took daily inventory in surf department of all soft good, hard goods, surfboards and accessories. Placing fill in orders when needed, and staying current on popular products trends. Attended monthly meeting with sales reps on new products and educated myself on the products to insure I was well prepared to answer customer questions. I strived on making sure I was able to educate customer on surfboard designs, constructions, and technologies to insure that customers were confident on there purchases. Find the right board for the right person is very important because surfing is supposed to be fun and foam is your friend. Also attended Snowboard clinics monthly during snowboard season to educate myself on snowboard products and construction to insure I could answer any questions if a client should ask. Worked opening and closing shifts and preformed opening and closing duties as required. Designed in store pop displays using vendor elements provided by vendors when needed to insure all inventory was well displayed and recorded the daily surf and snow report which was placed on the free phone line for the customers to all 24 hours and day 7 days a week.
