I was born and raised on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. I dove in feet first with all that Lake Tahoe had to offer. I started snowboarding in 1988, and to this day continue to do all the sideways sports and pass the skills, knowledge, and history down to my children. I grew up in an era where snowboarding was only allowed at 2 resorts, and by the time I graduated from high school, all area ski resorts allowed snowboarding. Being on the front lines of this progressive growth, I let the sports and lifestyle shape me to my core. Snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing is a lifestyle for me, and all that comes with the passions I keep my finger on the pulse from art, music, events, athletes, pioneers of the sports, market trends, startup companies, resort strategies and development, and overall outreach to those that embraced these sports. Not only did I seek this out locally in Lake Tahoe, I travel both domestically and internationally, participating and observing these sports and lifestyles throughout the world. I have watched these industries grow and it has been tremendous. 
With more than fifteen years of demonstrated success in the corporate environment, I am an experienced leader with a deep background in operations, sales, business development, manufacturing, logistics, CRM, strategic analytics, performance consulting, and management. My knowledge of the strategic, tactical, and technical needs of the front line, coupled with my ability to manage and direct teams and accomplish specific goals has led to successful product implementation, process enhancements, and company and department wide initiatives. My formal education and company training coupled with my professional experience makes me a great fit and adaptable. Prior to joining Washoe County School District and operating my own small business, Tahoe Metal Works, I held a position at Harley Davidson Corporate.  My former positions with Harley led to visiting and working with more 450 U.S. Harley-Davidson Dealerships in 47 different states. I went to all HDI manufacturing facilities, led and attended company sponsored Regional Sales Seminars, worldwide dealership shows, and town hall meetings. I was exposed to similar scenarios working for Lincoln Electric – Torchmate as well. Both Harley-Davidson Inc. and Lincoln Electric Co. have been in business for 115 plus years and have developed strong corporate cultures and identities. I see that same type of holistic lifestyle identification in my personal and professional life.

•	Product and Service:  Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Plasma Cutting.  CAD CAM design.  Fabrication and cutting of various types, thickness, dimensions, and tolerances of metal.  Products consist of signs, brackets, novelty items, and customized projects.  Create metal artwork out of American made steel.  Offer customized metal art work for Businesses, Organizations, Manufactures, and Homeowners.
•	Operations and Business Development:  Review marketing, production, sales forecast and budgeting plans and strategies.  Review financial statements for all regulated state and federal agencies along with all policy and procedure and rules and regulations as it pertains to industry and operations. Arrange financing, build relationships with wholesale accounts.  Arrange outside vendors for projects.  Develop and analyze short term and long term goals. 



Performs highly responsible, complex and diversified clerical, administrative, and technical support functions.  Performs a wide variety of responsible, complex and diversified clerical, administrative and technical support duties in a staff capacity within line departments. Specific duties vary considerably and analytical, budgetary and fiscal duties are a major or minor part of jobs based on location and assignment. Reviews and/or process confidential, detailed and/or technical forms, files, and other documentation, associated with one or more district programs or program areas. Requires detailed knowledge of the program(s) so that different calculations can be made and/or processing can be done in cases where guidelines are not clear. Function as a subject matter expert, providing sensitive and detailed program information to district employees and officials, the general public, and/or public jurisdictions as a significant part of the job. 

Student Support Services – Program Services Technician and Transportation – Bus Driver.

Assistant Property Manager. 
•	Office:  Work directly with Property Manager on 7 different properties totaling 150 units and growing.  Interaction includes current and prospective Resident for A, B & C class properties.  Constant interaction and communication with Executive Board Member (Platform investors, Property Manager and Builders/Contractors).  Duties specific to preparing and delivering delinquent notices, communication management from Resident to Maintenance team on work order requests, creating and closing work orders, manage Resident ‘help line’ for concerns or complaints, price comparison quotes for outside vendors, rent collection, eviction delivery and filing, maintaining and updating Resident files, preparation of ‘notices of complaint’ to Residents, Utility management and review for current residential accounts and maintaining a high level of customer service to all current and prospective Residents.  Create work orders from tenant requests and assign to each maintenance individual and team.  Communicate scheduling with both tenant and maintenance and outside vendors for work requests completed.   Verify that all work orders are closed and vendors and maintenance teams are paid and hours logged.  
•	Off site:  Utility management and review for current residential accounts, Walk through inspections on Resident move outs, Prospective Resident showings, Inspection and approval of completed work order requests, Delivery of rental deposits to bank, Update, Deliver and place marketing material to established business routes. Manage laundry vending collection and deposit at all properties.
•	Business Development:  Create spreadsheets based on immediate needs, track numbers via spreadsheets and report to upper management on projects, month to month, YOY numbers, manage social media with new postings and photos, create marketing flyers, assist on building, landscape and interior design for renovated properties, network with existing apartment organizations on current market rents and other, schedule Resident special events.   Assist management in planning and execution of events.  Create Newsletters for each property and deliver in various forms of media.  Assist management on process of upgrading facility furniture, artwork, process improvements, amenities, etc.  Verify all orders are submitted for upgrades, equipment and amenities upgrades are installed and completed.

Property Management

•	Work with domestic and international customers to determine what CNC table will be the most efficient and effective application for their home, job shop, facility, university, or manufacturing facilities.  Discuss and understand multiple applications and product lines to recommend for their current and future needs.  Work directly with shipping, manufacturing, fabrication, parts, engineering,  and the technical service department managers and associate to assure customers machine is delivered up to customer’s standards. 
•	Discuss product options, such as plasma cutter, CAD CAM software, weights dimensions, inputs and outputs. Generate and inform customer on product opportunity, cost analysis, break even points, and profit points, components, and capabilities of products as it fits in current operation and potential growth to maximize profits and grow business operations. Overcome objections, assist customer with product questions to help customer make best informed decision for their needs.  Assure that correct correspondence and internal process such as shipping, on-site installation, technical support, and parts department are in place for a seamless installation/delivery.
•	Work with the Lincoln Electric domestic and international sales team and their distributors to determine needs.  Communicate, train, and educate both Lincoln Electric Sales force and the Distribution channels on Torchmate products and the integration process.  Work directly with Regional Sales Managers, District Managers, and Sales Tech Representative within the Lincoln Electric regions worldwide. Assist Sales force in field with overcoming objections, provide data, marketing material, pricing, videos, and pictures and help streamline the buying process. Attend largest Industry trade shows with Lincoln/Torchmate demonstrations and welding tour equipment. Help create LECO data base/information for each domestic LECO region for internal use at Torchmate.  Arrange on-site training and demonstrations with customers.

Machine Sales - Sales Manager

•	Responsible for making the most complex decisions on loans, using the criteria from an automated credit scoring system and extensive analysis of business partner/customer’s file.  Make decisions beyond the organization’s guidelines, based on complex information-gathering and analysis of file.  Expected to be a mentor/resource for others and assist with identifying areas for improvement and training.
•	Handle inbound/outbound calls to address the most difficult/complex business partner/customer inquiries, Use effective time management to ensure customer service experience meets expectations, backs up Origination teams as needed, research pending credit applications.
•	Responsible to maintain current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to comply fully with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Field Sales Manager – Southwest Territory (03/13/2009 to 04/01/2010).
•	     Analyze individual H-D dealership’s portfolio performance and create profitability opportunities by establishing and maintaining a business relationship with key individuals at dealerships.  Implement consultative approach with dealership owners and operators. Responsible for 40 select Harley-Davidson dealerships in the Southwest Territory which includes all of: Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, southern Colorado and western Texas.
•	     Ongoing communication and advertisement of HDFS as the primary finance company by building awareness of finance programs, product training, new product implementation, process enhancements, potential sales opportunities and marketing initiatives.    
•	     Assist assigned H-D dealerships with training and implementation of sales process to help increase sales volume of retail, Extended Service Plans, Guaranteed Asset Protection, Debt Protection, Cycle Insurance, Planned Maintenance programs, wholesale and banking products.
•	     Organize, facilitate and support various seminars such as Advance Competency Training classes, financial maximizer seminars, Performance Consulting, New Dealership Orientations, global dealer meetings and other on-site training.
•	     Develop new avenues of ongoing communication and training to educate dealership staff and put HDFS top of mind.  Created materials for a comprehensive educational geared toward each role within a dealership.    
Inside Sales Manager – East (02/01/2007 to 03/13/2009).
•	     Analyze individual H-D dealership’s portfolio performance and create profitability opportunities by establishing and maintaining a business relationship with key individuals at dealerships.  Responsible for 58 select Harley-Davidson dealerships east of the Mississippi River. (Similar Job description as Field Sales Manager).
Technical Sales Support Representative (TSSR) (02/21/2005 to 02/01/2007).
•	    Trained H-D dealership network on web-based products.  Training settings consisted of regional sales seminars, sales performance workshops, on-site visits, Webinars and phone training.  Provided on-site support for dealer events and motorcycle rallies.  Worked directly with Field Sales Managers in training the dealership network and supporting initiatives to enhance effectiveness in the dealership network.  
•	     Trained dealers on the operational best practices as it relates to credit and insurance application processing, programming forms and documentation, program supplies and funding.  Implement/Install and train dealers on new technologies and systems that are provided to the dealer network.  
•	     Diagnosed and resolved dealer issues as it related to operational and system issues.  Troubleshoot issues by working directly with the IT department.   Communicated technical issues from the field to the business units and IT infrastructure, operations, and developers. 
•	     Experience with all H-D dealership management inventory and operational systems: Talon, Talon II, and TalonES.  Quality Assurance tested the TalonES system with Harley-Davidson Dealer Systems and HDFS.  Worked with programmers to help design the credit piece of the system to assure system met all requirements for internal and external customers.
Retail Specialist (07/15/2004 to 02/21/2005). 
•	     Operational department experience included: portfolio management, underwriting, funding, customer service, and collections.  Maintained knowledge of all state compliance, banking laws, and collections and repossession processes.  Systems used for HDFS database warehouse on H-D customers and dealerships financial information. 
Rider Sales Cycle Insurance (11/12/2003 to 07/15/2004).
•	     Sold and serviced motorcycle insurance policies for HDFS in 49 states.  Wrote insurance policies through HDFS for Progressive, Foremost, Sentry, Markel, and Dairyland.  Kept updated on individual insurance company policies, procedures, regulations and compliance laws for each state.

•	     Directed external design company to change website from informational site to an e-commerce site. Designed layout of website to be effective for all levels of users. Photographed products for website and promotional materials. Tracked customers’ 

Marketing/E-commerce Manager/Business Development Manager

•	     Assisted in design of PCC and BMC logo that appeared on the manufactured motorcycle along with motto for advertisements.  Created press releases for the introduction of the first North American manufactured 280mm pro-street model from PCC and BMC. Served as a liaison between professional bike builder and other custom motorcycle shops and professional bike builders.  
•	     Provided promotion support at rallies, poker runs, and bike shows.  Worked with various motorcycle clubs and specialized industry companies in support of overall industry.

Marketing/E-commerce Manager

O.E.M. factory trained technician responsible for service, initial set-up, diagnostic tests, replace and repair of parts for American made v-twins.    
•	     Assisted management with layout and process implementation for the dealership.  Implemented procedures for inventory, warranty, shipping and receiving.  Assisted in layout of show room floor and service department.
•	     Addressed critical manufacturing issues with corporate Indian Motorcycle Company.  Participated in an invitational event to address manufacturing and service issues at the corporate headquarters.  Participated in focus groups and training for product defects and communicated feedback of current products for future enhancements.    
•	     Served as liaison between sales staff, technical staff, and venture capitalist for dealership.  Promoted products at local bike rallies and events.
