I am a motivated engineer seeking to create positive change in the world, whether this is through alleviating environmental damage, helping others to enjoy the outdoors, or other avenues.

	•	Work with Manufacturing and Product Development teams to ensure quality in diverse product line 
	•	Implement performance validation test plans of pre-production products
	•	Visit manufacturing site to troubleshoot issues on the production line
	•	Track and report field issues seen in existing products
	•	Perform root cause analyses to determine severity of and solutions to issues seen by customers. 

Manufacturing Engineer

	•	Further developed groundwork for quality assurance system with non-conformance diagnosis records, First Article Inspections, and periodic defect reports.
	•	Assisted in new product development by carrying out, recording, and reporting the results of pilot production sample testing. 
	•	Performed exploratory research into the current and future regulatory needs of the company and created comprehensive CE Technical Files for  each product.
	•	Managed inventory of returned products, quality assurance samples, and surplus components. 
	•	Independently ran product exhibitions at trade shows.


Quality Engineer

	•	Diagnosed returned products through cosmetic inspection, use-case simulation, and disassembly/component inspection.
	•	Conducted First Article Inspections (FAI) on existing products.
	•	Worked with Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Director of Manufacture to develop FAI protocols for new products. 
	•	Created protocol for recording returned products and their diagnoses with a cloud-based system in order to efficiently communicate with Brooklyn headquarters. 
	•	Trusted with special projects including material research, sourcing, and exhibiting products at trade shows.


Engineer's Assistant

	•	Assisted customers in finding the best gear for their favorite activities.
	•	Assisted in keeping track of inventory, stocking shelves, and setting up seasonal displays.
	•	Had the opportunity to interact with and learn from dozens of members from Bellingham's vibrant outdoor community. 
	•	Learned the function and brand differentiation of hundreds of pieces of gear.

Customer Service Representative

	•	Assisted the Business Process Analysis (BPA) team in verifying that important documentation is stored and updated correctly. 
	•	Participated in process analysis exercises intended to find the most efficient and lean order of operations in each function of the company. 
	•	Acted as recorder for meetings with each department of the company to understand their needs and essential functions. 
	•	Received Six Sigma training from a certified Black Belt.
