Sam Mihell: in Wellington, WGN

I was brought on as an intern for a few days. But ended up working a further 3 months and finished the 1st season with weta. I learnt a lot of carpentry skills as well as tons of creative art department tricks tips for future projects. We built small scale towns, airports, snow caves and even mountain ranges.

This was a casual job i had while studying at the film school. My expertise in Stills photography and Video led me to a successful time at Photo Warehouse where i was able to help the customer and offer sound advice on products and equipment.
