Recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Business Administration. Experience in sales, customer service, and event planning. Dedicated over 120 hours of service to the restoration of the Alton Baker Park and Willamette River Area. Organized an invasive pull in the area of 50+ volunteers including recruitment of volunteers, check in and check out stations, as well as lead educational and equipment safety introduction. Contributed to increasing biodiversity along the Willamette River through organization of removal of 150+ cubic feet of the invasive Armenian Blackberry allowing for 30+ native wildflowers to re-habitat the area. Knowledgable in native plant identification and trusted with completing the first ever nature restoration guide for new-coming volunteers. Recorded inventory and maintained equipment for the non-profit as well as allocated resources based on budget. Managed and entered information into the database.

Restoration Intern

Responsible for enforcing all rules and regulations set by the YMCA. Trusted to manage staff on guard when lead manager was off-duty. Instructed private and group swim lessons for children ages 4-14, including special needs children. Interacted with the general public answering questions about the facility and drowning prevention. Collaborated with co-workers on pool area maintenance and safety to provide a safe environment.

Lifeguard

Conducted monthly meetings and provided input to House Corporation. Responsible for interacting with the House manager to facilitate solutions on all house challenges. Encouraged 46 residents to be accountable for daily house maintenance goals. Monitored member responsibilities and maintained record-keeping of plans and fines.

House Committee Member

Developed curriculum in connection with American Red Cross Standards for summer programs. Conducted age group and private lessons for children 2-14 years of age. Responsible for maintaining updates to parents and providing a safe atmosphere for first time swimmers.

Lifeguard and Swim Instructor

Accountable for accurate and detailed record keeping of statistics including final game results of water polo games in the annual Junior Olympics.
