I INTEND TO MAKE A REAL AND MEASURABLE CONTRIBUTION TO A FORWARD THINKING, GROWING, AND LEADING-EDGE BRAND WITHIN THE FASHION INDUSTRY. AFTER WORKING WITH FREE PEOPLE AS A BUYER AND DESIGN ASSISTANT FOR THE PAST 9 MONTHS, MULTI-TASKING WITHIN A LARGE COMPANY AND ESTABLISHING A LIASON ROLE BETWEEN SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS HAS BECOME SECOND NATURE TO ME.  WORKING UNDER STYLIST KRIS ZERO ON NUMEROUS COMMERCIAL PROJECTS, CELEBRITY AND ON-FIGURE STYLING, WITH VERY LITTLE SLEEP, HAS ENHANCED MY JUGGLING SKILLS.  I HAVE TAKEN ON MULTIPLE RETAIL AND  VISUAL MERCHANDISING POSITIONS AS WELL, WHICH  MOLDED ME INTO A WELL-ROUNDED ASSET, WHILE ALLOWING ME TO BRANCH OUT TO SEVERAL AREAS WITHIN THE FASHION INDUSTRY. I’M A TEAM PLAYER---ALWAYS IN A GOOD MOOD WITH CREATIVITY TO THE BRIM AND WILLING TO CONTRIBUTE WHEREVER NEEDED.



-6 Month Buying position included liaison between buyers, web team, merchandisers, and studio.  Facilitated sample turnover and weekly "to be shot" list along with the list of items to go up on web. Sales review through OTB, entering POs through IP, attend all buy meetings for Bags/Belts/Shoes, track shipments, handle and record all accessory sample handovers/returns/archives.  
-3 Month design position in knits included trend research, flat sketching, color cards and tech pack prep, hand and machine sewing, MSR presentations, and inspiration shopping.  I designed several knit tops featured in our catalogs as well as re-orders through direct and retail.

Buying/ Design

-Assisted Kris with red carpet styling for celebrities including Kate Bosworth and Shailene Woodley.  Handling all studio and showroom pulls throughout Los Angeles as well as returns. I've worked on several commercial shoots handling Warner Brothers costume pulls along with on-figure styling during shoots.

Styling Assistant

Handled in-store and storefront merchandising, product allocation, inventory control, backstock replenishment, focused on daily sales goals as well as customer satisfaction.
