Job duties of sales associates include but are not limited to the following: Assisting customers, operating the cash register, arranging/straightening/cleaning merchandise, checking in merchandise, cleaning the shop.

Experienced working sales and back-stock manager before being promoted to store manager. My attention to detail and organization helped me take charge of controlling and maintaining inventory as well as loss prevention. Enjoyed training new employees, and maintaining positive communications with my sales team. Achieving personal sales goals and modeling a strong work ethic is an important part of leading my team. My responsibilities also extended to promotion on social media including our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. But I also helped run the Maui and Sons international website. This included setting up photoshoots, coordinating with models, and uploading pictures.  

Supervised store opening and closing, including paperwork, deposits, and inventory management. Certified ear piercer through the company. Regularly achieved personal sales goals. Learned how to merchandise with planograms.

I taught children and adults of all ages the basic performance of surfing, as well as land and water exercises. I made sure they were in proper fitted wetsuits. I was a camp counselor to the children in day camps.  

Helped supervise shop, including opening and closing, managing inventory and receiving stock. Enjoyed communicating with clients, coordinating with local government, meeting sales goals and providing information to local surfers. Helped during events such as the Surfrider Sink the Breakwater.
