Reporting directly into the Supervisor, Gold/Team Accounts, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking personal and complete responsibility for each customer contact and by ensuring that all customer requirements are completely met. The CSR is responsible for sales order management through manual order entry as well as some EDI processing of sales orders. They will also be responsible for continued follow up as well as meeting customer’s demands. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of customer service is met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
Data entry of orders/credits/returns made via phone, fax, EDI and e-mail in a courteous, efficient and timely manner.
Initiate required action for response to customer service requests for order changes and communicates changes to appropriate personnel/departments.
Answer customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution.
Examine pertinent information to determine accuracy of customer complaint and to determine responsibility for errors
Communicates with sales representatives, buyers, regional managers and distribution center as necessary.
