Hello, I'm Scott Ostroff. I am a recent graduate of Towson University with a BS in mass communications. Through my time both in and out of Towson, I have studied and practiced post-production, using my unique view and conceptual ideas about editing and media to progress, along with my natural creative ability that has aided me throughout my career as an editor.

I find the true greatness and beauty in a piece of film every time I see one, discovering the big idea of an ad, a film’s originality, or a highlight reel’s power to catch the viewer’s eye. I have advanced experience with Avid, Final Cut, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Illustrator. I also have ample professional experience with almost every type of studio camera, videoboard camera, and handheld. I also have advanced experience in production including set build up and break down, logging, lighting, and filming.

 I am hardworking, energetic, goal oriented, and ready to take on leadership responsibility. I Currently intern for Renegade Communications, where I come up with unique and creative ideas for the post-production department, and occasionally for production as well. Interning has proved to be an incredible opportunity, that has not only prepared me for the real world, but has even put me in the position for real world deadlines and atmospheres.

Secure access into local community events; professionally represent CBS Radio and client needs while out in the community; assist in writing and creating full color event recaps; attend client events and supervise event set-up and client’s program visibility; deal with clients in a professional manner; and work directly with sales department to acquire all elements needed for sales promotions.

Contact high school coaches nationwide to gain a list of scouted athletes; cold call student athletes nationwide to offer our preparation program; create a specially designed packaged tailored for a specific athlete’s needs; monitor and manage client’s needs

Regional Director of Under Armour National Tryouts

Create unique and personal film editing compositions for clients and for Renegade using Avid, After Effects, and ProTools; assist is in all steps in the film editing process for clients; assist in the filming of commercials, television episodes and online webisodes; assist in all phases of post-production; work with the entire post-production team to develop and create beautiful and unique ideas to be implemented in the post-production process.

Post-Production Intern

Locate and close clients to work with MOS Creative; create ideas and plans that meets a client's budget to help improve and expand their business; meet with clients to discuss their account; work with the account manager to brief media, creative and research staff, and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies; present creative work to clients for approval or modification;
handle budgets, manage campaign costs and invoice clients; monitor the effectiveness of campaigns; make pitches, along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency.

Account Executive

Edit footage using Final Cut Pro and DVS Sport; set up camera studios for interviews; film sporting events and interviews; set up live streaming for press conferences, interviews, and sporting events; operate studio cameras, video-board cameras, and hand held cameras.
