 My name is Sean Lim, I have been a Design Director at Herve Leger by Max Azria in Los Angeles, California. After eight years of employment here, I am now seeking new opportunities. Having advanced from Designer to Senior Designer to Design Director at HL, I believe my abilities have been instrumental in transforming the image of the classic bandage dress. I consider my greatest achievement to be the translation of a lasting fashion standard into a vibrant, sophisticated, and modern interpretation. I would now like to bring my experience and talents to new challenges.

-Revamped three contemporary divisions (Worthington, Rye-Grass, Bold Elements) to align with the On-point brand'saesthetic, resulting in a 10% increase in sales and reinforcing the brand identity.
-Elevated visual merchandising by styling floor presentations and key looks for JCPENNY stores for a better engaging customer experience.
-Participated in the conceptual development of global seasonal directions, incl. Pitching original ideas & concepts.
-Oversaw technical designs of products from concept to factory, incl. fabric and Trim selection, fittings, and selectingvendors, etc
-Work in partnership with the broader development and team to capture Feedback, develop, maintain and distribute design directives.

Design Dircector

Conceptualized theme and color palette for five seasons per year, including two NY Fashion Week Runway shows (now totaling fourteen NYFW shows); managed internal design and sewing teams; traveled each season to work directly with manufacturers overseas.
- During my time with HL as principal Designer of Runway, I was instrumental in elevating the archetypal bandage dress to reflect the elegance of couture.
