In charge of managing the textile department, my main duties include: sourcing and buying textiles for each season’s collection of the company, based on: upcoming fashion trends, specific customer needs, best price, best quality and best delivery dates possible and inventory check to decide and send new orders supported by planning. Also source new items daily developing and approving lab dips and handlooms, shipping samples approval and working hand to hand with customs department to make sure goods are delivered in the best possible Schedule. In addition, also: making garments to present company’s new products, product display for sales, providing complete information of fashion, color trends and technical information of the product to sales team and clients to stimulate sales, support sales visiting clients, managing graphic design, organization of trade shows, and new collections presentations, workshops and events. Twice a year we visit: Tex world Paris, Premiere Vision Paris, King pins and China (specifically our factories). Also as a complement of this we make around 2 to 3 “cool hunting” trips to study global Market.

Responsible of buying fabrics for each season’s collection of the company in a very detailed way: based on the upcoming fashion trends, our specific customer needs, price, inventory demand, quality and the best delivery dates. In charge of making production orders, lab dips and handlooms approval, shipping samples approval and working hand to hand with customs department to make sure goods are delivered in the best schedule possible. In addition, also responsible for: making garments to present company’s new products, product display for sales, providing complete information of fashion and color trends to sales department and clients to stimulate sales. leading graphic design and organization of trade shows. Twice a year we visited: Tex world Paris, Premiere Vision Paris.

Responsible of creating fashion’s design and production department for the company private labels: Creating for each brand: Name, logo, profile and selecting target market, In charge of the whole design / production department: Designing collections by brand for Linio Latam, buying fabrics, supplies and accessories. Along with developing and approving samples, monitoring production, deliveries, achieving the best profit margins and creating sales strategies with buying department.

In charge of: contacting suppliers for product negotiations, income of product and supplier’s information to the database of the company, approving purchase orders daily, inspecting the product information on the website and choosing brands collections that will be displayed and sold through the website.

Responsible for designing each season’s collection of company’s brands (11 in total). In charge of: design, fabric and supplies search, developing and monitoring samples and making final product selection with the buying team.

Responsible for: Apparel design for customers, technical specifications development, pattern and garment scale development.

Custom design and production of staff uniforms.
