Design:
• Conduct evaluations & develop requirements for solutions to targeted projects.
• Lead development & execution of deliverable-specific design products and tools. 
• Research, evaluate & select, and maintain appropriate design tools & software such as Helioscope, Sketch-up, AutoCAD, PVsyst, SAM & Microsoft Excel
• Develop & maintain processes required for energy production modeling calculations.
• Evaluate & maintain optimal system designs & parameters, & communicate these designs to Solution Development, Sales & other departments as needed.
• Coordinate design efforts with project personnel in all disciplines and departments.
• Develop & implement a strong QA/QC process for solution designs & production estimates.
• Develop & implement tools to streamline the design process & reduce design parameter errors. 
• Provide design and/or technical input & direction to Solution Development, Delivery & Interconnection teams.
• Maintain & implement an understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), & applicable building & fire codes & implement them into deliverables.
Estimating:
• Develop & maintain the proposal & solution pricing processes.
• Maintain estimating source data, unit costs, tools, & deliverables. 
• Collaborate with the Sales Operations & Solutions Development teams to develop and execute proposals for presentation to customers
• Maintain a working relationship with equipment vendors to obtain pricing & proposal-specific quotes for all solutions
• Utilize the appropriate company & industry historical data for pricing estimates & converting costs into unit rates 
• Communicate & partner with Business Development Managers, Project Proposal Managers, and Project Managers to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time
• Collaborate with the Design team to provide a “best value” design for Solar PV customers
• Assist Operations with project cost reporting, change orders, and analysis of project actual costs


Preliminary Design & Estimating Manager

Essential Functions
•	Developed and maintained PV and BESS pricing tools using historically accurate and contemporaneous costs based on market conditions. 
•	Author and maintain user guides to support effective use of PV and BESS pricing tools.
•	Assist various estimating disciplines with pricing tool training.
•	Provide analytical support to various estimating disciplines.


Estimating Data Analyst

Essential Functions
• Assists in the preparation and review of lump sum, unit rate, and cost plus estimates and in the preparation of conceptual estimating cost analysis.
• Responsible for estimating, coordinating, and consolidating each of the disciplines 
 estimates into the Proposal Estimate
• Reviews design scopes and develops quantities
• Performs productivity analysis of construction operations
• Prepares direct labor estimates, distributable or contractors' indirect cost estimates
• Prepares contingency, escalation, and reconciliation for estimates
• Performs comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between projects
• Prepares management presentations
• Updates and maintains historical cost data
• Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests
 alternatives where appropriate
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects
 associated with the implementation of improvements



Estimator

Essential Functions
• Provide leadership and training to develop the skills of Project Estimators and others on the estimating team. 
• Supervise, direct, and lead the estimating team to the timely and accurate completion of solar PV estimates.
• Conduct estimating system training for all estimators and others as necessary.
• Create and communicate standards for estimating electrical design/build projects.
• Create, maintain, and upgrade the estimating system, database (units and prices), and assemblies.
• Review and evaluate requests for estimates, including RFPs, as well as commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
• Prepares bid calendar(s) and ensures timely completion of estimates.
• Reviews estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze project actuals and estimated costs to maintain pricing consistency and a competitive edge within the Solar PV markets, including the US and International markets.
• Prepares cost analysis by recapitulating Material, Labor, Equipment, Subcontractor, and Overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.
• Evaluate and recognize industry trends and perform market analyses as requested.
• Analyze market pricing conditions and implement an appropriate pricing strategy.
• Review and evaluate Prevailing Wage rates per region.
• Review and evaluate the material Tariff impacts per region.
• Review company projects and compare, on a timely basis, to as-sold estimates to confirm the accuracy of the estimate.


Sr. Project Estimator

Essential Functions
• Identify key components to be implemented in the design of a Solar PV project.
• Collaborate with the design team to provide the best value design for Solar PV clients.
• Provide proposal-level pricing for potential Solar PV clients’ consideration.
• Provide ongoing pricing estimates and material cost support for projects under construction.
• Maintain material quotes and project pricing cost structures.
• Analyze project actuals and estimated costs to maintain pricing consistency.
• Maintain Cost Estimates and project analysis within a construction-based software program
• Collaborate with the Design team to develop system production estimates and system design layouts.
• Assist Operations with project cost reporting and analysis of project actual costs
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop and execute proposals


Project Estimator

Essential Functions
•	Responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary linens and terry for guests. 
•	Including washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting items for wear and tear or stains. 
•	Ensure the laundry area is kept clean and organized. 
•	Ensure stock and inventory are maintained.
