Recruited by Dr Martens to re-org, re-build, re-brand all of Dr Martens International Americas Business, with a
focused "boots on the ground" strategy in both LATAM and CANADA. I developed, implemented and managed the following in my time with Dr Martens

• Organized and managed a full review/audit of all Dr Martens Distributors in LATAM

• Developed a highly focused DTC distributor strategy to rebuild brand reputation and integrity,

• Created a new distributor direct ship model, which was the building block to profitable pricing/margins for both Dr Martens and its distributor partners

• Hired new distributors specializing in DTC business direction (Mono Brand Ecommerce, Mono Brand Retail)

• Developed grey market policing strategies and worked closely with both Americas and International legal
teams to mitigate diversion activities in LATAM

• Organized and managed a full review/clean up of all Dr Martens Canadian retailers,

• Developed a Canadian 3PL business strategy and supervised the distribution center roll out.

• Built dedicated LATAM and Canadian based sales organizations, which included (CS, Independent Provincial
Sales Teams, and focused Sales Ops and Marketing teams.


• Designed and oversaw sales commission pay structures and wholesale pricing strategies.

• Developed all Dr Martens Canadian Tradeshow activities and relationships.

• Built dedicated Canadian and LATAM DTC websites and additional Dr Martens Retail Store locations.

• Originally Hired in 2003 to assist with both U.S. and International Customer Service needs.

• Promoted to Sales Support Manager in 2005 with a heavy focus on our international partners.

• Promoted to Canadian Sales Manager in 2009.

• Promoted to Director of Sales in 2012, until I left in 2017 for a position at Dr Martens.

Started this retail company with a silent partner in 1998. NWBS was a full service, action sports, retail store,
specializing in Snow, Skate, Wake and Surf products, with a full snowboard service shop and rental fleet.

• Oversaw and managed every aspect of this business, which included: Operations, Finance, Purchasing,
Marketing, Sales, CS and more.

• Opened a second store location after year 2.

• Made a decision in 2002 to sell my portion of the business to focus on our soon-to-be newborn and relocate
to Oregon to start a new chapter with DAKINE.
