of an 80yr old brand. Create and oversee the tone and voice for how best to engage the 3 tiered identified segments on social media leveraging Google Analytics as well as with the rebrand. Manage the packaging design and create 3D models for photography and Solid Works models using Blender. Mentor and lead a group of interns and existing staff on branding and execution of the brand.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR Lead the design department

Work as senior package designer on various corporate brands and acting lead designer for private brands pets for Aldi and Walmart. Create private brands packaging and dielines to fit product needs and direction from external clients. Work in Cinema 4D to create new products with accuracy to be taken into SOLIDWORKS for mold production. Work directly with buyers and senior level management on a daily basis with all of our clients to communicate best results and practices. Work to create custom illustration work for various vendors and art direct our China sourcing and design team in all aspects of design including photography, packaging, editing, proofreading, specs and more.

SENIOR DESIGNER

Work with the Account Manager and Creative Director on client needs, expectations, and deliverables. Design, develop, and manage deliverables that are delegated to different team members. Deliverables include direct mail, email campaigns, landing pages, banners, interactive PDFs, print materials, and other digital solutions. Provide direction and train as needed to all lead design associates, contractors, copywriters, any outside support. Select photographer, model, or stylist provided images. Manage project budget, timelines, and milestones. Develop communications and marketing strategies as well as identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements in internal processes. Communicate with partners, traffic managers, vendors, buyers, account services, project managers and sales team as needed to refine needs, resolve challenges, and discuss solutions.

SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

Primary objective is to collaborate closely with the marketing manager to design on-brand collateral campaigns for all events. Generate all types of collateral needed from clients including email blasts, magazines, expo banners, signage, lapels, invitations, donor event full-campaigns, clothing, as well as mobile apps and front-end web design. Attend any client meetings and lead with innovative and thoughtful strategies to enhance the direction of the project as needed. Direct on and offsite photographers in stylization of photography and attend all press checks to ensure brand integrity. Stay on brand with all collateral yet modify each piece to communicate most appropriately to the target audience while staying true to the vision of the Heritage Foundation.

Lead instructor for all components of the communication design program at SAU. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate design, graphic design, and digital media courses; managing the design lab; contributing to course and curriculum development; collaborating with other art and design faculty members; participating in assessment activities; supervising students in internships and professionally related activities internally and externally; actively serving on program and university wide committees; scholarly, creative and/or professional activity; among other activities. Contribute to and focus on community design driven needs from web design, brand identity, rebranding to anything from logos, catalogs, voice and tone, direct mail, commercials, and public presence.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF COMMUNICATION DESIGN

Worked as the creative lead (ACD) and owner of all core general merchandise packaging initiatives. Works directly with the Creative Director and core GM stakeholders in executing and evolving the creative vision of all general merchandise packaging within each category. Act as lead designer on key program initiatives to communicate a consistent creative vision as it relates to the vision of the brand. Execute and integrate the vision using proven strategies to drive sales focusing on the decision tree, consumer insights and the supplier chain. Work daily with sourcing to leverage best business practices utilizing direct import whenever possible. Conceptual responsibilities include decision tree foundations, comparative and competitive analysis, hierarchical layout, and coordination of all editorial illustrations and creative artwork. Responsible for translating facts and features of subject material into graphic terms that best convey intended meaning. Develop style guide for vendor guidance and package development across a broad scope for all campaigns. Works closely with internal company contacts and external vendors to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums. Supervised up to 400 contractors in 4 different countries consecutively.

SENIOR DESIGN MANAGER PRIVATE BRANDS

Principle responsibility is to teach perspective entry/junior level students basic principles of design with focuses including Typography and Advertising Graphics (Illustrator CS5), Desktop Publishing (InDesign CS5), Digital Image Editing both beginner and advanced (Photoshop CS5), Introduction to Web Animation (Flash/Dreamweaver CS5), Advertising Principles, Introduction to Graphic Design, and Occupational Experience. Lead students in various roles within our on-campus graphic design agency (Purple Ink) focusing on community design driven needs from web design, brand identity, rebranding to anything from logos, catalogs, voice and tone, direct mail, commercials, and public presence.

PROFESSOR OF GRAPHIC DESIGN

Primary objective is to work in a Creative Director capacity to lead, electronically build, create and assemble various print projects. Senior lead role in the re-branding of the College from every aspect: Logos, catalogs, websites, voice and tone, direct mail, commercials, and public presence.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Primary objective was to work as a Creative Director consultant for the rebranding of Walmart. Provide strategic development and creative direction with external ad agency (Lippincott) to ensure direction kept with the overarching vision of Walmart. Helped develop a new look and feel both tone and voice to help elevate and innovate Walmart into the brand that it is today.

SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR CONTRACT

SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER (CONTRACT) - Primary objective is to work as a Senior Production Artist to electronically build, create and assemble various print projects in accordance with agency and client specifications. Create and maintain strategic email and marketing blasts. Propose creative concept elements for potential and new projects. Attend any client creative briefs and add creative feedback to enhance the idea of the project. Perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines.

SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

Supervised art direction of all collateral to ensure that is on brand for multiple clients (Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Land's End, Sears and Kmart). Managed a team of 28 creatives to ensure effective execution of materials from Hong Kong to the US. Propose or draft creative concepts for execution with potential clients and ongoing client relations. Generate style guides for major stakeholders to use with other outside vendors for effective development and printing within set standards. Oversaw the proofing, manipulation, and correction of all files routing through our office. Execute a strong relationship with our team, our international clients and partners in Asia, India, and abroad.

SENIOR PRINT/PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Primary objective is to work as an Art Director for SAM'S CLUB to execute creative and innovative collateral that was on brand yet always pushing the creative envelope. Propose edgy creative concepts that keep the brand feeling fresh and on target with potential and new clients and projects. Attend any client meetings and add creative feedback to enhance the direction of the project.

ART DIRECTOR

Responsible for design layouts and assembly of text and graphics into page formats for printing. Manipulated images and type to meet production expectations and design strategy using a variety of computer hardware and software. Remain calm and productive under tremendous deadline turnarounds.

PREPRESS OPERATOR

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - Worked as a team member and team lead to develop from concept to final product dynamic model displays varying greatly from mobile kiosks, innovative packaging concepts, displays, product packaging, product design, printed collateral, strategic development, to even scaled-to-life city replicas. Effectively managed a team of 4 designers and budgets for all freelance talent, outside agencies, photographers and database management. Kept up with a fast-paced work environment exceeding tremendous turnaround deadlines while keeping our department's ROI in a graduated increase.
