My educational background receiving my BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University with concentrations in Printmaking, Ceramics, Figure Drawing and Jewelry Metals has uniquely prepared me with extensive design experience. My cross discipline study and dedication has taught me much about universal visual design, as well as, the importance of exemplary craftsmanship. Furthermore, my study directly under the Director of the Ross Art Museum through a Gallery Management course has given me considerable experience handling and displaying fine art. I have cataloged and handled both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works in the permanent collection and in installation at the Ross Art Museum. I have installed and assisted in the design of over ten gallery exhibitions, including a solo exhibition of my own work at the Werner Gallery. I have worked on the preparations of an Iron Pour, assisted in that pour, and installed and directed a satellite gallery of iron sculpture produced from said pour the subsequent year. I have met with visiting Artists and Board members at galleries.   My interest in textiles has also lead me to volunteer at the Virginia Quilt Museum, under its Curator, working on cataloguing their private historical collection and designing installations. I served on the Ohio Wesleyan Art Department Student Board from 2015-2016 and served as the Chair from 2016-2017. I served as Co-Chair of the Ohio Wesleyan Art Departments 2017 Senior Show “Refractions,” exhibited in the Ross Museum. I also served as the Co-Chair of the Ohio Wesleyan Art Departments Spring Show in 2016. 

Work in the church nursery. Supervise children up to five years old. Provide physical and emotional needs for children in the nursery during church events.


Studio Assistant to Ceramics Professor Kristina Bogdanov and Sculpture Professor Jon Quick. In ceramics, assisted in gas and electric kiln firings, hand-built large steins, maintained studio equipment, glazed work, recycled clay, mixed glazes, assisted level one students. In the sculpture studio, predominately worked for weeks in advance of the biannual iron pour, lining the iron ladle, making sand molds, and building equipment. Ohio Wesleyan is the only academic institution that does an iron pour in the state of Ohio. 

Studio Assistant 

Assigned to Ohio Wesleyan University Office of Admissions. Served as an Ohio Wesleayn University Student Ambassador. Organized submitted applications. Entered applicant information into Datatel.  Answered phone calls for the Office of Admissions. Welcomed and interviewed perspective students and their families.

Assistant in the Office of Admissions 

Served as an overnight counselor and Arts and Crafts Director (2013). Oversaw campers’ care (daily activities, meals, physical and emotional well-being). First Aid and CPR certified. Lead activities in nature lessons, crafts, hiking, campfire meals, taught lashing and knots, and lead overnight hiking/camping trips. Included turns on the kitchen staff: serving meals, washing dishes, and cleaning facilities. Gained experience with elementary through high school adolescents, special-needs adults, and the elderly. As Arts and Crafts Director, oversaw daily activities, planned and prepared the Camp Arts and Crafts program, and provided examples and support for campers.
