I am an experienced in retail and outside sales, and am looking for an opportunity to use my experience to help a wholesale company grow and expand their business.  I will work hard to ensure optimal profitability for your company.  I am willing to be a road warrior, to ensure your customers are called upon on a regular basis.  I will represent your company in a very professional manner, and will work very hard to not only maintain your present business, but to also bring in new customers and business.

Took over an existing territory and traveled the territory including the Bakken in North Dakota and eastern Montana, as well as Wyoming calling on oil companies on a bi-weekly basis.  Sold fiberglass and steel production tanks, well-site equipment such as treaters, separators, and Hess Services Well Stream Process Packages directly to oil companies.  Contacted existing customers on a regular basis to establish a great working relationship.  In addition to maintaining existing customers I was able to open up several new accounts including Statoil, Whiting Oil & Gas, QEP Resources, Ballard Petroleum, and Missouri River Resources.  I was very persistent without being a pest in my effort to get appointments with new potential customers.  The first time we met with QEP Resources, the Operations Superintendent asked by boss, who hired this guy?  He said we very seldom set up appointments with new vendors, but this guy has done an excellent job!  
Introduced and marketed Hess Services’ tanks and equipment to most all the oil companies in the territory.  Wrote and submitted bid proposals in response to Request for Quotes, and in an effort to solicit business.  Followed up with each and every customer and potential new customers via phone or email, following our meeting, or phone conversation.  Wrote and submitted weekly sales reports to the VP of Sales and Operations, and worked very closely with him, keeping him informed of my progress with existing and potential new customers.  Used his expertise to help close deals and when I needed help with technical issues.  Worked with company staff including engineers, customer service representative, accounting and billing, as well as logistics to make sure the customer’s orders and requests were properly submitted and understood.  Oversaw the delivery of the tanks and equipment, and also followed up with customers to make sure the delivery went well.  Filled out and submitted expense reports.  Took part in trade shows, and other marketing events.

Regional Sales Manager

Took a start-up fiberglass tank company from not having any accounts to getting them into several companies including Whiting Oil & Gas, Encana Oil & Gas, True Oil Company, and Cypress Energy Partners.  Researched prospective customers using Don’s Directory for the Oil & Gas Industry.  Then did a lot of cold calling on the companies by phone and email making them aware of Black Hills Fiberglass, and the fiberglass tanks they manufactured.  Traveled throughout the Bakken including North Dakota, and eastern Montana, as well as Wyoming calling on oil companies, and salt water disposal companies.  Made appointments with customers to review their needs, and to establish future opportunities.  Handled any problems or concerns from customers, and came up with the solutions to the problems.  Worked under minimum supervision.

Sales Manager

Traveled extensively throughout the Bakken in North Dakota, the entire state of Wyoming, and eastern Montana calling on oil and gas companies, pipeline companies, refineries, vessel shops, and manufacturing companies.  Introduced potential customers to the non-destructive services TechCorr offered, and called on previous customers to see what type of projects they had coming up and what service or services they would be needing.  Also maintained excellent customer relations with existing customers.  Opened up several new accounts for the company, including Marathon Oil, BP, Denbury Resources, Sinclair Refining Company, and Enerflex Systems.  Wrote and submitted bid proposals for upcoming projects.  Followed up with each and every person and company contacted via phone or email.  Handled potential customer’s objections and turned them into sales.  Prepared weekly sales reports and participated in weekly phone conference sales meetings with the National Sales Manager.  
Worked closely with the regional operations manager, reporting to him weekly on progress made with existing customers and potential new customers contacted.  
Turned over customers to the division managers so the work orders could be processed and work could be scheduled.  Followed up with customers when our services were being performed as well as after the completion of the work to see if everything was going or went as promised.  Completed and turned in weekly expense reports for reimbursement.  Represented TechCorr in a very professional manner and made a very favorable impression on existing and potential new customers.

Traveled and called on retailers throughout my territory selling Landstrom’s Black Hills gold and silver jewelry.  Spoke with customers about the level of inventory they were comfortable stocking, and made suggestions about which styles were selling best and which styles would create the best turnover for them.  Increased year to date sales by over $50,000 the first season with gold prices at an all-time record high.  Handled several customers’ entire purchase of inventory and increased their sales by 30%.  Maintained inventory levels that minimized inventory while maximizing sales.  Attended regional trade shows and wrote sales orders and met with new potential customers.  Opened several new accounts in a well established territory.  Went above and beyond servicing my accounts, which included merchandising, re-setting, and rotating the inventory.  Several customers expressed to me that I was the best representative they had ever worked with.
