I pride myself in mastering a diverse array of business concepts and using this knowledge to understand the ties between all functions within a business. I believe in trying new things, innovation, creativity, trust, and good old hard work.

USC's Marhsall School of Business is well known for breeding entrepreneurs and business leaders due to their commitment to educating students in diverse business disciplines not limited to Strategic Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Data Analysis, Accounting, Finance, Business Statistics, Business Communication, Leading Organizations, and much more. I have embraced this diversity by actively pursuing separate fields of study. Not many students pursue Product Development Practicum Courses, work as an Accounting Tutor, and have their writing in the field of business communication published.

Being raised by public servants, I believe that showing respect, trust, and compassion to others is extremely important for developing strong teams, and strong businesses. I believe that cross-functional initiatives are the lifeblood of strategic business development, and the managers that will lead the most successful initiatives are the ones who push their teams to perform by offering these three things.

Mastered the concepts of USC Marshall’s undergraduate Accounting and Operations Management courses.

Developed lesson plans, Excel templates, and case analyses to teach USC business students how to apply the major concepts of operations management and accounting, such as: Lead time management, inventory ordering optimization, product margin analysis, cost of goods sold analysis, safety stock calculation, segmentation optimization, etc.

Lead Tutor: Accounting and Operations Management

Oversaw the development and cross-functional coordination of all departments within this projected $8 million apparel and accessories company found in stores such as Nordstrom and Kitson, including supply chain management, inventory management, product development, production, sales, ecommerce, merchandising, and finance.

Developed the company’s first product demand and sales forecast systems for our ecommerce and wholesale channels pulling from multiple data warehouses and using advanced Excel functions and automation tools.

Created inventory and production needs projections based upon thorough product sales analyses and seasonal sales cycles.

Developed automated Excel program that tracked the ecommerce performance of all products, cutting previous reporting time in half.

Processed company payroll and lead on-boarding of all employees.

Operations Cooridnator

Contributed to the development of an e-commerce platform that connects over 5,000 brands to a 60,000 retail buyers attending the largest apparel trade-shows in the country.

Analyzed product performance from our internal data warehouse and SalesForce, and tracked long term performance changes.

Analyzed digital KPI’s and direct market research to provide strategic recommendations to the SVP and General Manager.

Ecommerce Marketing and Operations Intern

Supervised the operations of a fast paced boutique selling mens/womens apparel and accessories (O’Neill, RVCA, Nike, Volcom, etc.)

Monitored consumer preferences to deliver buying recommendations to senior buyers.

Monitored store inventory and sales patterns to inform inventory replenishment decisions.

Created original inventory management systems to ensure high performing product was always stocked; eliminated shrinkage by 100%.

Anticipated and processed inventory arrivals based on our seasonal buying schedule.
Performed interim manager duties during two prolonged phases of manager shifts.
