Innovative and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer offering more than 4 years of leading design, analysis, manufacture, and field support initiatives for ground-based turbomachinery aspiring to migrate to the aerospace or outdoor recreation industries.

Accomplishments

•	Designed and implemented mechanical fix to compromised closing blade locking pin holes.
•	Designed and implemented rotor blading for standardizing 7 deviating rotor designs.
•	Current R&D to design universal (footprint) steam turbine governor (actuator) for direct replacement in the Kellogg Ammonia fleet.
•	Launched blade design overhaul; re-designing to conform to newer machining and operational standards.

Professional Experience

Siemens Demag Delaval Turbomachinery, Inc.						      Trenton, NJ

•	Service industrial static and rotating structures (rotors, diaphragms, inlets, cases, actuation linkage systems, blades, vanes, valves, etc.).
•	Lead Engineer on various inspections, repairs, upgrades, and revamps including long-term/fast paced projects.
•	Design and computational analysis (FEA, CFD) of new components for upgrade/revamp projects including blades, vanes, roots, shrouds, seals, valves, steam chests (pressure vessel) and various other aspects of fluid control.
•	Provide technical expertise through instructions, test procedures, reports and support to shop personnel and customers.
•	Develop innovative ideas for process improvements including streamlining rotor inspections, thermally straightening kinked rotors, and 
•	Detailed knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
•	Strong oral, written, and leadership skills working in tandem with departments and co-workers.
