Independently identify cardiac rhythms & documents ECG measurements per standard.
Immediately identify abnormal ECG rhythms & changes in rhythms
Read, label and generate Cardiac Summary Reports for all patients’ arrhythmias and/or events to send to appropriate Physician.
Speak with patients & help them hook up their monitor to ensure accurate recordings.
Supervise all other ECG Technicians in regards to: rhythm identification, scheduling, Physician/patient phone calls, etc
Answer all incoming calls & direct to appropriate department if necessary
Manage all employees within the company’s Time-clock & produce weekly report totaling all hours for weekly payroll
Troubleshoot any monitor/recording/wire issues with patients, and send monitors off for repair if necessary
Manage all job postings including; contacting for interviews, interviewing, hiring & training all ECG technician candidates
Take disciplinary actions on Techs when necessary, including write-ups & counseling
On-call 24/7 for Tech contact in regards to emergent situations/questions
Coordinate flow of all phone calls throughout the office (ex: forwarding to appropriate lines after hours, directing voicemails appropriately if not answered, etc)
Additional duties as needed throughout the office.
