My professional experience to date has been administrative in nature, working in customer service, human resources, and acting as an office assistant. These roles have taught me business acumen, office upkeep and how to effectively manage a project from start to finish. But beyond my day job, you’ll find me exploring everything that SoCal has to offer. One weekend I’ll be up in the mountains, the next I’m in the desert, and I strive to finish every day at the beach. 

I also maintain and curate birdasaurus.tumblr.com, a Tumblr mood board that has over 200,000 followers. The page started as a  keepsake for all things beautiful I find on blogs, Instagram, and company websites but I was delighted to discover just how much my tastes resonated with people and it turned into something much more. This is where my initial interest in photo research began. Over time I’ve created a brand based on upcoming trends and visually striking images, employing a high degree of organization and strategy to reach a wider audience.

Assisted with photoshoot and asset management including calendar, email newsletters, and digital marketing for a fast-growing, sustainable luxury fashion brand. Aided with merchandising and updating the Shopify website. Oversaw all customer touchpoints including email and social media. 

Created and managed monthly social calendars for 5+ business social media accounts. Provided engaging text, image, and video content using Canva and Lightroom design tools. Ensured brand consistency in digital marketing and social media messages by collaborating cross-functionally.

Social Media Assistant

Customer Success Rep managing the Customer Care operation and service-related functions for Outerknown's e-commerce and wholesale clients. Responsibilities include:
-   Managing all customer touch points including inbound calls, email, live chat and social media
-   Ensuring the timely resolution of order discrepancies, shortages, mis-shipments, and returns
-   Anticipate and prepare for long-term needs such a sales peaks, rapid growth, and launches
-   Monitoring customer feedback and identifying trends and surfacing these up to the appropriate teams across the business

Customer Success Coordinator

HR Coordinator role with an emphasis on company culture. Responsibilities include:
-   Hiring and termination procedures including setting up accounts
-   Monitoring correspondence and scheduling new candidate interviews
-   Organizing events to create employee engagement
-   Acting as the face of the company, greeting visitors with a smile.

PEOPLE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Customer experience role working directly with customers and partners. Responsibilities include:
-   Handling dozens of calls daily in a fast-paced environment to always exceed customer
expectations and ensure they were well taken care of
-   Training over 50 new employees.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

Acted as a primary support for HR and accounting. Responsibilities include:
-   Preparing daily bank deposits
-   Working with clients and vendors to collect payments and statements
-   Maintaining a well-stocked kitchen and office inventory
-   Managing the front desk and phones
