As a new graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, I am seeking a challenging career with room to grow. I have taken a broad approach to education so that I may excel in multiple industries. My education has mainly focused on the fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, materials, civil, and environmental science. As a current lab technician, I work closely with engineers and scientists who familiarize me with the professional engineering standards and practices. Overall, I enjoy solving problems, have an aptitude for learning new skills, and always provides quality work.

Assist engineers and technicians in various projects around campus. Much responsibility given to complete designated tasks timely, with excellent quality, and little to no supervision. Tasks include planning of local projects, construction and demolition, lighting and flooring installation, painting / texturing, testing and maintenance.

*Offered the position by the lab coordinator after seeing how diligently I worked in class and with a positive attitude at all times.

Broke sales goal every month since I started working. Lead the "Round-Up" donation program to achieve top store for consecutive months. Renowned customer service and friend to all. Knowledge of procedures needed to operate a non-profit organization. Small staff with much individual responsibility.

Store Clerk

Effectively organize incoming product to be shipped to Menards retail stores across the nation. Knowledge of the processes involved in shipping/receiving for an established industry. Record breaking pallet stacking time.

Shipping/Recieving Sortation

Tutor in calculus. Highly independent with no supervision. Responsible for establishing lesson plans, meeting times/location, and effective communication with the tutee. Often going above and beyond to make sure my tutee understood the material and was prepared for the exams. 

As a result of my teaching, my tutee was able to pass the class and is now able to graduate on time.

Tutor

Never late and never had an unexcused absence. Assist various staff in all aspects of restaurant duties. Restaurant maintenance and thorough cleaning. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, sanitation, and aesthetic appeal. One of the longest working restaurant assistants, gaining seniority by providing high quality work and having the utmost respect for the restaurant. Worked many late nights closing the restaurant/bar area alone after letting my fellow coworkers leave. Spent some time answering phones, taking delivery/carry-out orders, and being a cashier for carry-out. Memorization of menu and specials.

*This was my first "real" job and I admire my time here for instilling in me the strong work ethic I have today.
