Lead supervisor and trainer for UFC Gym installations -- Oversee install crews and onsite labor, and interface with franchisees and contractors to unload and build MMA style gyms (heavy bag cages, octagons, personal training centers, boxing rings, strength & cardio equipment, and retail counters & displays). Coordinate travel, onsite material rentals, tractor trailer loading & unloading, and tool/equipment requirements. Assembly, testing, programming, and installation of major fitness manufacturer’s strength and cardio equipment, including Star Trac, Stair Master, Octane Fitness, Technogym, Life Fitness, and Schwinn Fitness. Installation of MMA and cross fit assemblies from Throwdown, Hoist Fitness, Rogue Fitness, and Viking Products. Local, regional, and nationwide installations. Bobtail truck driving experience.

Boxing Gym equipment installation and assembly. Working with Peter Riggs of LA Boxing, installing heavy bag cages and boxing rings. LA Boxing heavy bag cages were welded together onsite. UFC Gym acquired LA Boxing. UFC Gym builds nationwide with Peter Riggs (now of UFC Gym Corporate Office). Unloading and installation of heavy bag cages, octagons, and retail counters & displays in small box gyms and rebranding of LA Boxing gyms to UFC Gyms.

Mechanical design of CNC machined, stamped, and extruded metal components, injection molded product cases, and printed circuit boards for remote control car electronics and brushless motors. Experience with 2D and 3D drafting software including SolidWorks and Ashlar Vellum/Graphite. Prototype machining of product components and assembly fixtures on vertical mill and horizontal lathe. TIG, MIG, and stick welding experience, as well as plasma cutting. Graphical design of product labels, packaging materials and boxes, magazine advertisements, trade show displays, and web site banners & product images using Adobe illustrator and Photoshop. Photography and video of company products and events. Close up high-detail product photography and computer import, clean up, and formatting of files for both print and online use. Technical writing, layout, and formatting of installation and assembly instructions, owner’s manuals, and web site content. Extensive use of Adobe InDesign with implementation of photos, graphics, and diagrams. Start to finish trade show logistics including booth layout, product displays and graphics, shipping crate design and fabrication, booth set-up and tear down, and working the floor and meetings during shows, as well as public address/announcing of demonstrations and raffles. Have worked shows in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Pomona, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Nurnberg Germany.
