DIRECTOR OF PLANT OPERATIONS

Logistics, Shipping & Operations

- Manage the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance and repair of buildings and its assets (MEP, Structural, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Safety systems) by maintaining project timelines and priorities. 

- Conduct meetings with architects, contractors (Structural and M.E.P), and other design professionals to review scope, design, materials, and process proposed in connection with new construction, major repairs and capital improvements. 

- Strategically plan future capital improvements to propose options to COO and VP of Business Development by preparing estimates and specs for physical plant projects including costs of equipment, materials, labor, and supplies. 

- Coordinate and oversee steps of projects performed including but not limited to; Architects plans, Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Engineers, Inspector of Records (IOR), Area Compliance Officers (ACO), and Fire Life Safety Officer (FLSO). 

- Manage department budgets and corporate credit card used for ordering of equipment and supplies and monitor inventory; make
requests for capital expenditures directly related to plant operations

- Managed the Physical Plant Department for 39 facilities located throughout California and Arizona.

- Collaborated with company Executives and Field Directors regarding department necessities and project status reports. 

- Managing the scope-of-work for various projects ranging from corrective maintenance to structural and aesthetic renovations. 

- Routinely conduct job-site safety audits and inspections. Managed and directed asset management program. Actively identifying hazards to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory standards (OHSA, NFPA, CAL-CERS, CMS et al.). 

- Co-Curator of a company-wide policy and procedure illustrating an Emergency Operations Plan as mandated by the State of California.

REGIONAL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

- Managed day-to-day operations for a creative services firm where I consulted on projects for small businesses and entrepreneurs in real estate, design, and sales.

- Led quality control for leather goods collection. Sourced raw materials from nationally sourced distributors. 

- Designed graphics for print and digital marketing collateral. Directed product photoshoots.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

- Aided the General Contractor with overseeing bidding process and project negotiations. I would then develop and managed budgets and timelines requirements for remodel and new builds valuing $150,000
upwards to $30million. 

- Conducted site visits performing due diligence and quality checks, addressing any
concerns to General Contractor and maintaining follow up on pre-existing issues. 

- I would curate and maintain relationships with sub-contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure pace of timelines. 

- In addition, I managed and monitored project schedules and ensured that projects operate within budget guidelines and are completed within schedule timeline.
