Timothy Marriott: Bike Fit Specialist and Sales Expert in Boulder, CO

As a bike fit specialist I worked one-on-one with a variety of clients using the RETUL 3D bike fitting software. RETUL is a software and hardware system that utilizes infrared light to determine kinematics instantly and in real time. I used this information to identify and treat injuries, improve performance measurements, and fine tune aerodynamic adjustments. As a sales expert, I help customers find the right product for their needs, whether that be a $10,000 bike or a $30 pump, I excel at helping people find the solution to their specific needs. I also worked with vendors to stock the store and do in store events to promote their products. I've developed a large customer base that knows me by name, while growing our customer base through networking and community outreach (organized by me). As a sweat composition analyst I test clients sweat to determine their sodium concentration per liter of sweat loss. With this information I am able to create a nutrition and hydration

As an Exercise Physiologist I was responsible for designing and implementing exercise protocols for post surgery and chronic injury patients. In addition, a crucial role was patient management and retention. I had a very strong retention rate with a high level of communication with each patient. I also brought patients from my previous job to this one, demonstrating my ability to keep long lasting relationships and bringing something new to this position. I have been successful at improving patient outcomes and returning my patients to pre-surgery health. My chronic injury patients all have expressed a reduction in pain and an increase in their abilities to perform everyday tasks.

As Director of Bike Fitting I was responsible for the bike fitting education of the staff, cultivating a culture within the store that promoted bike fitting and pushed those services, and I performed all bike fitting services using the RETUL 3D motion capture system. I increased sales of bike fits through multiple channels and increased awareness of our services within the store. In addition to these main functions, I was also responsible for high tech gear sales. Technical products and gear sales were funneled in my direction, for I had the most knowledge and expertise with technical products.
