Digital Solutions Manager

Traveled the world surveying and installing golf launch monitor equipment and PC gaming systems for Foresight Sports' initial partner driving ranges. Setup switch systems to install OS and software on multiple new PCs at a time for efficiency sake. Managed partner training and reported hundreds of hardware and software bugs via JIRA helpdesk. Configured and supported systems remotely using RemotePC and GotoAssist. Rolled out dozens of software upgrades and firmware updates to more than 300 gaming PCs across multiple time zones. 

Field Tech Engineer

Installing and supporting computer golf gaming software systems and launch monitors for driving ranges (similar to Top Golf). On-site planning, installs of systems and remote support of over 300 systems worldwide.

Traveled the world installing golf launch monitor equipment and touch screen PC gaming systems for Foresight Sports’ initial (Total Range) partner driving ranges. A Top Golf type of experience.
?Created scouting reports on new ranges and flew a drone to gather images and 3D rendering data.
?Isolated several critical bugs, leading to quick fixes for 114-bay range in Singapore. Liaised hundreds of bugs to Dev team via JIRA helpdesk, while remotely supporting Total Range PCs via RemotePC.
?Initiated methods to scale by scripting to roll out critical software upgrades and firmware updates to more than 300 gaming PCs from Australia to Sweden. Also, setup production stations to bake 16 PCs at once.
?Saved the day by performing repairs on GC-Quad launch monitors in the field with just brief training.


Field Tech Installer

• Perform hardware beta testing and critical troubleshooting as well as tech support to new nationwide PC sales force.

• Procure 3D demo software and 3D videos from various vendors.

• Key contributor to solving critical heat related issues resulting in increased performance and stability of the PCs.

• Technical advisor, consultant and the appointed Windows 7 Certification agent for the business.

Technical Adviser / Researcher/ West Coast Regional Manager

• Implement test plans for Multimedia CD-ROM apps for: Sting, Clint Eastwood, and The Muppets.

• Work closely with developers and marketing to perform extensive black box tests and report timed stress tests used to recommend hardware compatibility requirements for minimum/suggested hardware.

• Write installation instructions, edit and test documentation and product packaging to on-screen multimedia content which includes hover/click mouse movement triggers and user interface special FX.

Computer Support Technician, IT Operations

• Manage, build and maintain 60-80 Windows servers and installations of databases for content on sites: ESPN.com, NFL.com, NBA.com, NASCAR.com, ABCNEWS.com, TheStreet.com, Superbowl.com, and more.

• Support team member to executives and top tier escalation for issues related to PCs and servers.

• Handle critical on-call duties to monitor and log server status and perform emergency troubleshooting 24/7 requiring quick resolution and troubleshooting from server reboots to data restores when needed.

QA Software Engineer, Multimedia CD-ROM Team

• Founding member of the NTRepro team, charged with forming the team and managing multiple candidate interviews. Train team on the bug life cycle process and use of databases and introduction to the Windows NT developers. 

• Increased customer satisfaction with communications skills as customer/developer liaison on a daily basis to more than 50,000 beta sites worldwide.

• Adept never-give-up style resulting in the resolution of over 3000 bugs throughout a dozen releases, including pre-release, beta and RTM ship versions - The most of anyone in the Windows NT Systems Group.

• Increased overall project productivity through the coding of several test scripts used in nightly stress tests. 

• Areas of bug expertise -multi-media and graphics applications, graphics cards, sound devices, user interface and installation procedures, printers and plotters, mice, serial communications and more. 

QA Software Engineer, Windows NT Dev Team

• Handle all aspects of software testing for new versions of entire line of Windows based graphics software.

• Collaborate on documentation, design of product literature; improved overall product appearance including feature tweaks to user interface, performance, graphics, fonts, and clipart.

• Produce and perform hourly product demos at trade shows, for audiences of 50-100. Created and ran trade show hands-on classroom demos for 20-25 people at a time lasting 15-20 minutes each.

• Built successful 3rd party trade show marketing coop program consisting of 100+ companies to share cooperative advertising, direct mailings, software product testing, and hardware evaluations regularly.

Product Specialist / QA Engineer, Software Development

• Tech support for corporate customers with extensive troubleshooting remotely over-the-phone.

• Author of tutorial training guides for Micrografx Designer and Micrografx Graph Plus. Booked and held on-site training seminars across the US at sites such as Exxon, DuPont and McDonnell Douglas Aircraft.
