Products/Production Manager

Engineering & Production

20+ years progressive experience in a fast-paced, demanding apparel production and sourcing environment
Extensive knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trimming and printing techniques
Strong understanding of production and process lead-times
Strong understanding of fabrics and different garment wash processes that help problem solve production issues
Overseas travel to manufacturing facilities experience
Insightful, conscientious, and accountable with a high level of integrity and professionalism. 
Easily handles multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy
Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment
Dynamic, enthusiastic, “people person”, looking to make a mark
Multilingual in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese


•	Establish and oversee production strategy and effectively liaison business relationships between product suppliers to leverage lower costs and reduce lead time 
•	Establish and manage profitable growth plan for specific product categories; create and execute seasonal business plans/proposals
•	Perform competitive research on a regular basis; continually evaluate source and identify factories to meet pricing, products and dely window expectations  
•	Drive efficiencies through optimization of evaluating offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
•	Partner with Design and Merchandising leaders to develop production ready samples for design presentations
•	Present seasonal product lines and fabrics to account with proposed assortments and classification requirements to align with customer merchandising and design vision
•	Manage all aspects of co-op/allowance requests and approvals adhering to customer's policy and requirements
•	Manage production timelines, review reports and recommend solutions to exceptions
•	Develop time and action calendars for all programs managed
•	Work closely with all vendors and agent offices to ensure that monthly production capacity is utilized and recommend appropriate action when issues arise
•	Monitor production status of all programs by season
•	Track shipments from vendor to distribution center
•	Manage placement strategy and follow-up by recommending product placement and action plan for chase
•	Manage flow; manage and maintain unity and production reporting
•	Manage any required fabric reservation. Confirm fabric and trim with factories
•	Coordinate and lead weekly production meetings with factories and agents
•	Lead, develop and manage team members. Set clear objectives, provide ongoing performance feedback, and evaluate potential
