Lead the strategic direction of the $800M Women’s Apparel business unit, implement best practice methodologies, ensure profitability and growth, develop partnerships with other functions and guarantee best in class customer experience. Focus on meeting financial targets by maximizing sales, margins, and inventory through pre-season optimization across all customer channels.
Director, Merchandise Planning and Analytics (2015 to  2019)
Engage in merchandise planning including considerations for pre-season and in-season assortments and financials, store levels and space allocation for both Kmart and Sears stores. Across two business entities, identify, recommend and execute strategies that align with the company’s business objectives through comprehensive data analysis. Communicate brand, business unit and division strategies as well as financial and inventory plans to meet or exceed sales, gross margin, ROI and inventory objectives. 
•	Successfully develop and lead a team of 25, providing ongoing guidance, mentorship and performance management while balancing workloads among the team
•	In newly created role, developed key reporting the was leveraged across the entire Business Unit.
•	Leverages expert knowledge to establish, implement and maintain best practice methodologies for pre-season, in-season and long-term division financial & product strategies.
•	Created a business case based on price band analysis for changing the pricing strategy from high-low to a priced-to-sell value proposition that was accepted by the CEO.
•	Achieved positive sales and margin growth in 2016/2017/2018.
•	First year of merger with Sears, increased in season sell thru by 1600bps through sku rationalization, increased depth in key styles and revised pricing strategy.


Director, Merchandise Planning and Analytics

Provided leadership to the $550M sku intensive intimates, hosiery and accessories line of business including oversight of financial planning and inventory strategies to achieve key business metrics. 
•	Developed, led and mentored a team of 13 high-performing team members.
•	Successful in decreasing aged inventory by 25% and increased turnover by 14% in 2013.
•	Working closely with merchant partner, successfully developed and implemented a plan for inventory and style reduction following a volume group and style optimization analysis revealed the bra department was over assorted.


Director, Inventory Management

Oversaw the $150M Men’s Sportswear line of business and provided business and financial planning encompassing sales, markdowns, gross margin and inventory control. Provided input and recommendations to Senior Management on market trends, and opportunities and risks to current forecasts and future planning strategies. Collaborated with the Buying Team to create merchandise assortments based on business objectives and financial goals. Effectively monitored inventory performance and spearheaded strategies to achieve forecasts.   
•	Developed a volume group assortment recap report that was adopted by the Total Apparel Group and incorporated successfully into a new costing model system.
•	Achieved less than 2% variance in end of season sell thru across 9 store volume groups through detailed directive to analysts on store level findings and actions.
•	Provided training, supervision and performance management to 2 Analysts.


Inventory Manager

Developed and delivered orientation to all new employees, managed benefit enrollment and database input, and worked closely with the CFO on a variety of special projects analyzing inventory data and sales reports. 
•	By initiating the delivery of a benefits seminar in Spanish, realized a 30% increase in contributions to employees’ 401k plans.


Human Resources Coordinator 

Collaborated with the Sales Team to track current sales trends and managed key account business to maximize sales and sales margins. Developed strong partnerships with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure product arrived on a timely basis. 
•	Instrumental in creating buying tools to ensure inventory turn and margin profitability.
•	Credited with decreasing Nike inventory by over 25% and increasing sales by over 15% through identification of unproductive sku’s and putting inventory in the best selling styles.
