? Ensures a disciplined accounting closing and reporting process for timely and accurate financial reporting on an established timeframe ? Ensures financial reporting is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles ? Reviews, controls and tracks journal entries required by the monthly closing process; ? Reviews all intercompany account balances with parent and sister companies ? Reviews and posts all monthly journal entries ? Ensures periodic evaluation of financial reporting through account reconciliations, activity analyses and established review procedures ? Ensures that all financial reporting for subsidiaries (domestic and foreign) are accurate and complete ? Serves as liaison with external auditors ? Supervises proper operation of general accounting, fixed assets, including the preparation and approval of journal entries ? Identifies and implements necessary improvements to policies, procedures and internal business controls ?
