    I am a recent graduate from California State University Long Beach with a BS in Mechanical Engineering aspiring to work in the field of product development. My interest in product engineering stems from my enjoyment of the outdoors and my fascination with creating meaningful and useful equipment.

    The two things that make me most excited are making things and having fun outdoors. In the summer, you can find me surfing or backpacking 211 miles on the John Muir Trail. In the winter, you can find me camping in my Subaru Outback so I can snowboard Mammoth Mountain. And if I'm not doing any of those things, I'm probably at my local climbing gym or in my garage building more gear for my adventures.

• As a Lifeguard I - Performed over 350 ocean rescues
• As a Lifeguard II - Supervised co-workers and provided constructive feedback to improve beach operations
• Worked in a team environment and lead beach operations with minimal supervision
• Practiced public relations by educating beach visitors of ocean conditions and beach ordinances
• Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician; able to provide CPR, bleeding control, and Advanced Life Support procedures
