I am learning a design process and understanding how it fits into the world on a local and large scale. I'm also acquiring skills in other crafts to understand materials and their potential within design. Living as a resident assistant has helped me strengthen skills as a leader and in building a community to bring different interests and backgrounds together.

I attended Emily Carr for the Spring semester of 2011 in which I continued to study Industrial Design with a focus on patterning for soft products. Another highlight of my study was my work with the Red Tent Campaign to address the homeless crisis in Canada.
