•	Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
•	Conserves VP’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; respond to executives emails based on the executives preferences, drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
•	Organizes and maintains order with the VP’s email and system files and folders.
•	Maintains VP’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.  Providing the appropriate reminders to the executive and updating appointments in executives PDA and/or day planner.
•	Represents the VP by attending meetings in her absence; speaking for the executive exclusively as directed by the executive.
•	Welcomes guests, vendors, hospital executives and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
•	Maintains customer and company confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
•	Completes projects, follows up with direct reports (directors) to executive for result on ongoing and new matters.
•	Prepares reports which include collecting and analyzing information.
•	Secures information by completing data base backups.  Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
•	Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting approval or orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
•	Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s and/or seeking IS support from the appropriate team member of the company (subject to executives approval); troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
•	Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the companies industry.
•	Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

•	Research and compile data necessary for the preparation of department and specialized reports.
