Daily activities required the evaluation of subcontract agreements awards for existing or potential agencies and providers of services and equipment. I was responsible for subcontractor awards for hardware and/or services to support over seven hundred countrywide locations that required electro-mechanical systems, Contract Labor services, facilities, software, hardware and both new and refurbishment construction subcontracts.

Responsible for project subcontracts awards for electro-mechanical hardware and e-business systems software. In addition to my subcontract material development responsibilities, I lead the material Integrated Product Team (IPT) for advanced state of the art products that required security and project configuration management. My IPT team provided program overview of all material issues in Statements of Work, for technical subcontractor support to maintain project performance and military delivery and contract configuration commitments.

Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME)
 
Responsible for subcontractor source development of complex electro-mechanical components, instrumentation for man rated flight and ground support systems. Established configuration management control as we developed qualified hardware with Quality Assurance, Engineering and Manufacturing operations. Implemented process control to insure drawings and specifications could be translated to contract terminology for supplier compliance. Additionally was responsible for contract award evaluation and proposal analysis. Corporate Assigned as lead Engineer responsibility for 14 member PQA team. Rockwell Corporate certified Procurement Quality Assurance Subcontract Surveyor to insure compliance with Defense Acquisition Regulations. 
 
SUBCONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR				
Bendix Electrodynamics, N. Hollywood, CA – 1983 thru 1989
Hydraulic Servo Actuator Systems for military and commercial
 
Bendix contracts administrator on Navy subcontracts and service agreements for program electro-mechanical hardware in accordance with Navy retrofit program requirements. Negotiated and issued subcontracts to complete manufacture, system test and installation of servo actuators for Navy Nuclear Sub Fleet retrofit program at prime contractor facility. As EDD subcontract administrator, I reported to Director of Material and chaired the Make/Buy committee. The prime contract incorporated responsible for awards to develop and establish a system test facility on Phoenix Arizona. All servo actuators required a 100% substantiation testing prior to installation on ships in the US Navy Nuclear Fleet to accomplish retrofit project technical demands.
