Production Coordinator

Administration & Clerical

Detail-oriented technical professional with knowledge of garment constructions, patternmaking, and computer/ CAD skills. Worked with women's wear and kid's wear in product category: knits and woven tops, active wear and denim. • Managed on going styles that need to be fitted and prioritized them in timely order.
• Setting up tech packs with BOM page, garment constructions, label placements, POMs, and grade rules.
• Measured and review details of received samples from Proto stage to TOP samples in a timely manner
• Communicated with Design, Production team and factory for any style updates, fit updates and grading issues.
• Utilized the knowledge of textile construction, finishes and techniques with existing production fabric library to provide suitable fabric for fitting
• Updated and released the graded spec on specification page to the factory in China
• Checked patterns and graded pattern from the factory to ensure the corrections and grading are made correctly
• Lead fit sessions to review overall fit, balance, construction details of the garment from proto through TOP samples.

Technical Designer

• Set up 1st pattern card to match the line sample garment and double check the details
• Coordinated between Pattern room and Design department for any pre-production projects
• Assigned style numbers by dresses, tops, bottoms and any style changes from the existing styles
• Helped measure the proto samples and complete all required paper works and sent to designated customer or department
• Followed up pre-production (lab dips, strike offs and trims) submits and released comments accordingly
• Specified 1st import fit, pre-production garments and TOPs and released comments accordingly
• Submitted PP/TOPs to customer by following customer's required procedure
• Communicated with the customers for sample requests, submission comments, and PP/ TOP sample fit issues
• Coordinated with Design department, Sales/ customer, and factory when any pre-production/ production issues arise.
• Oversaw the submits such as lab dips, strike-offs, fit samples, Pre-Production sample and Top of Production sample and problem solving when issues arise.
• Coordinated between Production and Design department for any pre-production projects.
• Managed the Time and Action/ Work in progress to all orders and made sure to ship the goods in a timely manner
• Advised any fabric qualities to sales and design department for any pre-production and potential order by utilizing the knowledge of textile construction, finishes and techniques with existing production fabric library.
• Problem solved any pre-production/ production obstacles and insured the production quality met the standard
• Reviewed the fabric/ garment test report prior submitting for customer's approval. And Problem solved when the test items were not met the standard.

Production/ Pattern Room Assistant

• Followed up the production and updated the most current production status
• Organized purchase orders and updated them on Excel file, and made invoices to account receivable
• Audited and book kept invoices and account received checks
• Graded production patterns and made production markers
• Specified production garments and searched for TOPs
• Coordinated the new developments into production smoothly
