Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Oversee company-wide supply chain and operations

• Local Spot brand community building by attending social rides, events, etc.

Director Of Purchasing

•	From whitepaper to business case and brand creation, led all aspects of  planning and operational execution to bring Viathon Bicycles to life. 
•	Project Management - Manage contributors to ensure alignment with brand strategy while successfully executing on functional tasks in branding, product design, website development, marketing, and fulfillment.  
•	Product Development - Lead engineering contractor’s product direction with refined list of quality goals, industry product references, and specification requirements for each model produced.
•	Brand Development & Marketing – Set vision for the brand to develop brand assets, featured content, press/media packages, and on-going marketing strategies. Ensure compliance with the company’s legal review and trademarking processes.
•	Financial & Inventory Planning - Oversee P&L and executive reporting to stakeholders regarding brand performance, financial metrics, and industry impact. 
•	Operations - Developed and implemented completely new product fulfillment process to meet standards of the high-end customer market by developing strategic partnership with high-end bicycle assembly experts.



Brand Manager- Viathon Bicycles

•	Develop sporting goods owned brand categories from product ideation through product launch.
•	Product Research, Multi-Industry Trend Tracking - Partner with merchandising directors to evaluate potential categories to expand into with private label products. Provide industry and trend data to evaluate product opportunities.
•	Owned Brand Strategy Development - Build business plans and objectives of expansion into new products, including financial plans, brand positions, quality expectations, marketing requirements, and content needs.  
•	Request for Quotation (RFQ) Development - Create full product line of potential new products, including an itemized list of desired quality cues by product and benchmarked products in the market. Manage bid process.
•	Supply Chain Management - Establish international supply chain partnerships for new projects, including initial factory capability assessments, on-site sample and revision reviews, and final visits to ensure proper quality control prior to opening production.
•	Merchandising - Oversee item setup and content creation.. Curate brand and product assortment pages to ensure maximized product presence.

Senior Product Development Manager

•	Responsible for strategic planning, merchandising, inventory management, and growth of the Bike category across all online channels (Walmart.com, Jet.com, Moosejaw.com and Hayneedle.com).
•	Site Design - Redesigned taxonomy to increase effectiveness of UX and customer decision tree. 
•	Visual Merchandising - Execution of all levels of site rules and item level attribution to achieve new user experience. Planning and execution of all site marketing, including banners, POVs, Co-Op collection and negotiation.
•	Brand Acquisition - Expanded assortment across all segments of bicycle industry from opening price point to specialty high end. Tailored product selection to website’s mission and customers.


Category Manager, Bike

•	Responsible for bike hard goods (bike components, frames, and complete bikes) strategic assortment planning, marketing plans, product selection, inventory management and meeting financial goals. 
•	Set annual marketing plan with detailed weekly/daily comp goals. Provided in depth promotional goals to buying teams to update with new opportunities and ensuring YOY growth. Provided marketing team with creative briefs for buyers guides by product segment with sufficient lead times to execute super feature content collection. 
•	Analyzed business on a daily basis through demand sales and shipped sales reporting to develop action plans that reacted to market volatility and ensured implementation of adjustments to our marketing plan.
•	Managed team of buyers to ensure execution of bike strategies as well as developing their individual strengths.


Senior Buyer- Bike Hard Goods

•	Developed updated mountain bike for reentry into the marketplace. 
•	Worked with multiple US and international manufacturers to select new production partners.
•	Developed production timeline, budget and schedule out delivery from multiple manufacturers and suppliers.
•	Managed Merlin bike warranties from initial acquisition of the brand; developed warranty policies and procedures.


Brand Manager- Merlin Bicycles

•	Significantly exceeded performance goals each year including 20-27% annual growth year over year, +22% margin growth, and increased inventory turns +.92
•	Responsible for assortment planning, product selection, inventory management and meeting financial goals for bike components merchandise department.
•	Executed the forecasting and preseason orders while simultaneously processing short term ASAP purchase orders to maximize inventory accuracy and flexibility.
•	Negotiated order terms and sell through opportunities with vendors where appropriate and coordinate the maintenance of order status, ship dates and terms on all PO’s.


Buyer Bike Components

•	Maintained appropriate levels of inventory to assure consistent inventory turnover and GMROI.
•	Assisted marketing department with selection of products to advertise in daily email promotions.
•	Attended product trade shows, pre-lines and vendor demos to assist in product selection.


Associate Buyer

•	Ensured the highest level of customer satisfaction by promptly and thoroughly responding to phone, email and live chat consumer inquiries; accurately entered and maintained customer orders
•	Corresponded with vendors for inventory availability, product specifications and compatibility; worked with purchasing department to source special order items and out of stock items
•	Exceeded individual sales goals every year and earned Top Salesman of the Month 6 times throughout time in position
