When I decided to go back to school in 2019, I thought I would only learn how to sew. My journey has since evolved in the last two years training how to sew, spot trends, and sustainably develop apparel products. Currently, I am completing five specialized certifications at Orange Coast College to drive my design career in the apparel industry to collaborate with other new optimists for the future of textile and apparel products.  

• Menswear designer for large department store private label capsule collections.
• Creating prints development for men's woven and knit tops.
• Tracking the review of strike offs & lab dips; archiving strike offs & lab dips.
• Designing suiting, separates, and business casual sectors - extensive CAD library development.
• Great understanding of merchandising, trends, and demographics across North America.

Menswear Design Intern

• Remote Intern to create CAD illustrations and accessory designs directly with Creative Director.
• Produced Tech Packs and SMU character development in Adobe Illustrator.
• SMU Merchandising - mock-up characters onto garments for consumer goods and print.
• Complete sample production process; research and development, pattern drafting, cut and sew.

Product Development Intern

• Recruiter - "Ramp Up" businesses for vendor support, included hiring authority.
• Onboarding - communication of professional procedures in the hiring process.
• Experience in troubleshooting, technical support, and customer care.
• SME - orderly audit employment documents in compliance before hire.
•Proficient in I-9 approval, background check, and HRIS systems.

Talent Acquisitions Coordinator

• Building mock-up interior and exterior adjustments
• Firsthand CAD rendering experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop - interior design.
• Front office duties: management of supplies, invoices, deliveries, and mail
